Excellent Replacement Battery for Beltone Charging Case
This battery is as close to a direct replacement for my Beltone C1 rechargeable hearing aid charging case which was almost impossible to find, but found this one after doing my research. My $200 charging case is back on line and recharges my hearing aids perfectly.

Defective
Battery will not charge and is defective. Unfortunately, it is outside the return window with Amazon.Edit: Though I was not offered a return or refund option given the return period was outside of 30 days, Amazon was kind enough to do a refund anyway without me asking. Thanks Amazon!

Didn't work in my Theradome LH40 (purchased 4Q20) - here is what you need to check
First thing to note is that the battery I received had red and black terminals opposite to what is shown in picture. I was able to swap them so that it matched the battery in the picture (and the original battery in my Theradome LH40). Once I did that the battery provided power. However, since some reviews said they were not able to charge the battery I checked and I wasn't able to charge the battery either. I did some checking and found the difference in the batteries that was causing the issue. In my original battery the resistance between the ground (black wire) and the center white wire was 8.8 kilo-ohms at 68F. So, there is a thermistor which the Theradome charging circuit is using to monitor battery temperature while charging. On the purchased battery the resistance between the ground (black wire) and the center white wire was "open-circuit." So, the Theradome can't monitor the battery temperature and thus won't start a battery charge.More detail - the purchased battery does have a thermistor but a small control board on the battery is using it. So, this battery is monitoring battery temperature itself vs having the device monitor it.Since Theradome asks for your serial number when you order from them it seems that they may have changed what kind of battery the unit uses (even though they are all 18650 format). So, before ordering you should check the resistance between ground and center pin on your battery. If it's "open-circuit" then this battery may work for you. If you measure a resistance (e.g. 8.8 kilo-ohms at 68F) then it isn't going to work for you.

Didn't work on my LH40 version of Theradome
This didn't work on my version of the Theradome. The battery and its specs look identical to the original with the exception that the sequence of wires on the connector is different. I chose to return it instead of messing with the wires. A subsequent purchase of a replacement battery directly from Theradome worked flawlessly. So why wouldn't I rate this as one star? Because this battery might work on your LH40 version. When you order from Theradome they require a serial number. That could be for compatibility reasons. It's possible that Theradome made a "running change" in the battery wiring harness at some point and perhaps I have a version that isn't compatible with this battery from Amazon. The battery direct from Theradome is $50, so it could be worth your time to give this a try.

The battery and the connector are correct but the wiring is not what is in the picture be careful
When I received the item, fortunately I didn't just plug in the battery. The black and red leads are reversed compared to the picture. I changed the wires around and the battery works. Not a huge deal if you notice and have the skills to change the wiring. Not sure my device would have been happy if I'd plugged it in as shipped.

This lasted 6 months ok then would not last one use between charges.. super cheap do not buy...There are other choices with better reviews... skip the blue ones the manufacturer is likely using wasted failed cheapo cells.
