It’s a great and functional cooler.
This cooler has been great for me. It’s much cheaper than most other brands - especially ones like Yeti - and it feels just as sturdy and functional. The size is great and it holds quite a bit, but I would say it could get pretty heavy pretty quickly if you’re loading it up. It is really easy to use, and it will keep items cold for the entire day, even if it’s sitting in the hot sun. I use this on Costco runs, especially if I am buying anything that should be refrigerated like meat or dairy products. I’m very happy with this cooler.

Fantastic Durability, Keeps Ice for Days – Perfect for Camping
I am extremely impressed with the Igloo BMX 72-Qt Cooler! This cooler is everything I was looking for in a high-quality, durable option for my outdoor adventures. Right out of the box, I could tell it was built to last. The heavy-duty blow-molded construction gives it a rugged, indestructible feel, and it handled every bump and jostle of a camping trip without any issues. One of the standout features is its insulated lid and thick foam walls, which keep ice cold for up to five days! I was amazed at how well it performed during a weekend camping trip, even in high temperatures. By the time we were ready to head home, there was still plenty of ice left to keep our drinks cold for the drive back. If you’re looking for reliable ice retention during long outdoor weekends or trips, this cooler delivers! The rubberized T-latches are another feature that really impressed me. They secure the lid tightly and lock in the cold efficiently. You can trust that this cooler will hold up even when it’s tossed around a bit. Also, the stainless-steel reinforced grab handle and triple-point grab handle with a rubber grip make it incredibly easy to carry, even when fully loaded. It’s easy to load into a vehicle, and the grip helps prevent it from slipping around. I also love the threaded drain plug, which makes draining the cooler incredibly easy. I was able to hook it up to my hose to drain out all the melted water with minimal effort. The thoughtful built-in fish ruler on the lid is a neat little touch for anyone into fishing, and it’s clear that Igloo put a lot of thought into the small details. The non-slip corners and four tie-down points make sure it stays securely in place, which is great when you’re driving on bumpy roads or uneven terrain. I use this cooler for camping and it’s been a game-changer for keeping all my food and drinks cold. The 72-quart size is perfect for group camping trips and holds everything I need, from drinks to snacks and even some fresh food. The cooler doesn’t take up too much space either, making it easy to store in the car or campsite without it being a burden. Overall, the Igloo BMX Cooler is an outstanding product that has exceeded my expectations. It's durable, efficient, and extremely reliable in keeping items cold for days. Whether you’re heading out for a camping trip, a day at the beach, or just need something sturdy for a tailgate party, this cooler gets the job done. I’m confident it’ll last me for many more adventures, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a top-notch cooler.

Keep Ice for 3 Days
I needed a cooler I could keep in my car when I travel for dog sports. We’re usually out in the sun for as long as eight hours a day, and sometimes there’s not a lot of shade. The cooler I had would melt the ice within about six hours. I was spending so much money on ice. So I bought this after looking at the reviews, indicating that items would still be cold after three days, even with some ice in the cooler. It’s absolutely true. Three days after I put a bag of ice in this, there is still ice in the cooler although most of it’s just really really cold water. But it’s still cold enough to keep what I need cold. The money I save on ice is going to have this cooler pay for itself in about a month and a half. It’s a great price and a great cooler.

Pretty good but not the best
Great size, the handle is plastic and does feel concerning (just a little) that it may be weak but it has held up great so far. The lid and body feel rigid and durable. It will hold ice for at least 4 days. The lid does not seal around the body. You can keep adding ice as it melts but just keep in mind the melted ice water will NOT be sealed in under the lid so if it's in your vehicle the water will splash out.

Well Built Keeps Ice For Days
This Igloo Cooler is very well built and seems like it will hold up to use for a long time. I tested it on a road trip where I stayed overnight at a campground and had it sitting in my van the whole time. I put ice in it on a Monday, camped overnight, came home and left it and drinks in the cooler in the van.The video shows what I find when I go out to the van for a look on the following Friday to see if there was any ice left and well, the video shows that there still was ice! Sure it had some water, but, quite a bit of ice still. The drinks were very cold still. Now, one thing that some may see as a con is that it doesn't have a drain plug, but, for me, it was what I wanted because I have heard stories about the drain plugs leaking water out and since I was going to have this sitting in my van I did not want the risk water leakage in my van. It's not that big of deal to dump it out when you are finished using the cooler. The latches like the ones here on some other brand coolers, I have read were too hard to pull and then some of them broke eventually from having to pull them so hard and stretching them so much. The latches on the Igloo seem to be just right. You don't have to pull really hard, just enough to release it and then put it back to secure it. I also like the little places on the top for tie downs. The handle is very sturdy and solid and easy to grip. Igloo has been making coolers for a long long time, and this is a lot less expensive than some other competitors and I doubt if someone is going to want to steal my Igloo cooler, another reason why I went with this brand. It looks really good too and fits perfectly in my passenger seat in my van. It will sweat a bit of course, so I just put a tarp underneath it and a towel to absorb any moisture. This is really perfect for a one to 3 day outing for sure and I'm glad I decided to go with Igloo!

Not bad
Pretty Nice! My 26qt Orca is the same size as this 52qt (exterior). So orca has double these walls So 1/2 less insulation here; Walls about 1.5-75 inches is my guess for igloo Orca about 3.4” Also orca is half usable space vs this igloo at 3 times the price So it’s really what do you need ? I need both Different applications the iglooo is very nice at the price point Def nice I got the last yellow one sweet It Kept my food cold for over 4 days at consistent 70 F W 4 of these packs Use recomm packs per colder size Overall? It’s very nice for the $ Definitely a less expensive option for a decent cooler Only issue; The drain plug isn’t much with the bottom So u just have to life it at some point as it holds? An inch of water due to plug height Not a deal breaker for me I’m happy w it

Keeps the ice , does not melt. Great size and very sturdy. Great handle.
A great Buy ! You can fit at least 18 cans in the cooler, and it stays cold. The ice doesn't melt. We take it out in the boat to the island all day. We love the color as well. Very sturdy. I like this much better than the Yeti. Not as heavy and has more room in it. Great handle as well.

Worth the $$
Love it, great cooler good price. So many coolers now at $200-400 and this is comparable . Got this to brine and store meat outside instead of taking up fridge space. With ice, temps were in the safe zone for 2-3 days.
