Required for use as an aid when defrosting freezer to keep contents cold as its not always possible to do the job when completely empty. We have a few of these already but too small for the job as are mainly for lunch boxes. These XL 750 are huge packs and means you don't need as many to kerp any remaining food frozen or chilled. Not noticed any leakage

Massive. Stay frozen for ages

These are good sized ice blocks and they've held up well so far. We got them during the heart of the heat wave and wrapped them in tea towels to use them like reverse hot water bottles. absolute life saver. They also work well in a cool box. When I first froze them I was a bit concerned when they bulged as much as they did (see photo), but they've held up so far. Also, the sloshing sound begs the question of whether they are actually "gel". Maybe it's just a poor choice of word. They do stay cool for a reasonable length of time, but that may be a matter of size more than anything else. The price (£8.99 at the time of this review) was understandable in a heat wave when there was loads of competition, but it seems a bit high in mid-October. I'll be generous and give them 4 stars.

These are great, just what I was looking for big & chunky

These blocks have a tendency to leak water everywhere (even when just removed from the freezer) possibly a problem with the cooler block filling? The blocks are large and do stay cool for a while but I would only recommend using with items you dont mind having soaked

I was looking for some bigger cool blocks and these are perfect for my coolbox - I have some thin ones which do the job but don't last long enough. These bad boys are big and keep everything cool all day long. Great product and great service from a small business!
