This seller has sold me a refurbished MacBook Pro with a faulty motherboard. It has been 5 months since I purchased and I literally have only used it to play music from my iTunes. No apps no email nothing except music. I have taken it to a specialist in computer repair and the replacement motherboard is &600 . Do not buy from this seller.

The computer is in excellent shape as described, battery as normal signs of use , im happy with my purchase. But previously I bought the same computer from another seller and didn’t have the same experience. Buyer be aware of the risk of buying renewed: depends on the seller. My good experience was with TechMint My bad experience was with PrimeTimeBuys AKA 203trading. No response from their costumer service in over a week!

I have bought and used a number of refurbished Macs, so I definitely don't expect them to be like new when I receive them. I had a 2017 15" MacBook Pro in the past, so I am familiar with the keyboard issues with the butterfly switches. I expected to have some issues with the keyboard on this Mac since it uses the same type of keyboard switch. It turns out that it has issues with repeating keys (especially the Delete, Spacebar, and letter I) when the keys are only pressed once. This is not a deal breaker alone, so I kept the laptop and used it for a while longer. The laptop arrived with a Service Recommended notification for the battery, which was also not unexpected in a refurbished Mac. The charge still lasted a few hours unplugged, which was good enough for me. However, after about a month of usage, the battery life has drastically reduced and the laptop has shown signs of charging difficulties. I left it plugged in over night and woke up to a 1% charge - no change after about 10 hours. There are also some small scratches on the screen, but those are again expected in an older, used laptop. None of these issues on their own would be problematic enough for me to leave a bad review, but everything together makes me consider returning it. I have another month to return it, so maybe I'll give it a few more weeks to see if I'm satisfied enough. Don't get me wrong, the price was fantastic for the hardware I received. But I am a software developer and security researcher, so losing portability due to the battery life and having to frequently retype code and passwords due to randomly repeated characters is frustrating. The Delete key is especially irritating, as it will sometimes backspace over multiple characters at a time when I am only trying to correct a single one.

It does everything a laptop like this should do. I have had some issues with the screen flickering occasionally but it usually goes away. Not the biggest fan of the Touch Bar but it can have its uses.

This laptop looks brand new. It has no marks or scratches. No working issues. It was getting little hot at first. After reading some technical reviews online, I installed a program to increase the fans efficiency. Not getting hot anymore. I love this laptop and it is my 1st apple laptop.

The laptop is excellent in many ways, from the operating system to how it arrived in the package — everything was great. I waited a month to give an honest review, and the only issue is that the battery doesn't last very long. Other than that, it's spectacular. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

Pésima computadora. No cumplió un año y ya no sirve. Desde hace un par de meses comenzó a dar problemas al punto que ya ni siquiera enciende.
