YakAttack Parknpole Link 8 ft 2-Piece Stakeout/Push Pole

I though this was a bit pricy for what it is. I mean its just a stick right...... BUT its very sturdy holds my micro skiff great and the two piece part makes it easy to stow

So as a anchor/stake out pole it’s nice. I like that it breaks down into two sections which makes for easy storage and transport. So far I have not had any problems with the two half’s coming unscrewed during use. The fact it floats is also nice for when it come loose from its anchor point you can retrieve it. I also got this in hope that one day I would get a Micro Anchor Power Pole and could use it with it and not have to buy another one. That plan backfired. This WILL NOT fit in the Power Pole Micro Anchor. It does clearly state in the description that it is sized .8something” and not .75” The Power Pole needs a 3/4” (.75”) pole.

I used this to push my boat in the shallows of the mangrove. It pushed like a champ, and It was not made to anchor a motor boat so I cannot complain q that it did not stake enough to do that. So overall i’m impressed with the sturfiness for a 2 piece.

Used this in rivers, flats, and backwaters. Allows for easy solo fishing and removes the wind and current factor when casting and standing.

I use this two piece pole on a 15’ boat. I bought it as a shallow water anchor, but found that the push pole functionality while fishing the flats is my most frequent use. And the large end can double as a light paddle for small adjustments to position. This pole is strong and light and it floats. I am very happy with it!
