Clarks Men's, Whiddon Step Loafer

My brother really likes these shoes. He says they are comfortable and stylish. He is 70 years old and walks with a cane.

I purchased these for a new job not knowing if they would be comfy for an eight hour shift on my feet. They are sized correctly and fit nicely. For the last 22 years I had worn boots to work. Well these were a surprise for me since all of my other dress shoes sucked to wear any length of time. These have held up well to walking over 2 miles a day inside and outside in the weather. As far as I can tell you can't beat the price for the comfort and durability.

First time wearing the leather shoe, it feels tight - but might be normal after a few days of breaking it in. It is comfortable and seems to be decent quality. A little bit slippery on certain surfaces.

These shoes are very long and narrow and they remind me of elf shoes. I'm a size 12 regular, never needed a wide shoe before, but the regular size 12 for these shoes was too narrow for my toes to fit while still being very long. Oddly enough, there's about an inch in front of my big toe, so plenty of length, and they're wide enough at the back, but they are oddly narrow shoes. This size 12 shoe has the width of a size 11 and the length of a size 13. Elf shoes - they should put a little fuzzy ball on the end of these and market them during Christmas time as a novelty product. I exchanged for a 12 wide (first wide shoe I've ever owned) and they just barely fit because they're so narrow, but at least there's enough space for them to break in. There's still a lot of room in front of my big toe while just barely fitting in width (again, I'm not a wide size in any other shoe). We'll see how they feel once they break in.
