What ingredient would cause drowsiness?

I have no idea. I take it, and do not have any drowsiness whatsoever. Magnesium is supposed to help you sleep so maybe that’s what it is, but it’s also a booster? Just so you know, I am not drowsy when I take this. But if you don’t want to be pooping all night I would wait till 4 o’clock at night to take it and then when you wake up you’re gonna be good. How much should you drink for same effect as clear magnesium citrate for clearing bowls?

Based on Walmart’s Equate brand of magnesium citrate. It comes in 10 oz, at 1.745g per oz. The directions say take 1/2 bottle to 1 bottle followed by 8 oz of water. Theoretically, you’re taking 8.725g to 17.45g based on their directions. This brand comes as .420g (420mg) per table spoon. To get the same dosage as the normal magnesium citrate, you need to take ~21-42 tablespoons (10-20oz) to get the same dose. When I saw that, it seems a bit excessive. Instead, I took 150ml (10 tablespoons, or 5oz) and drank about 64 oz of fluids throughout the day. It flushed me out pretty good, starting from 8am in the morning, it kept flushing me for about 36 hours, heavy after 1.5 hours, and got lighter by the night. Hopefully that helps

Yes, after the product has been opened, it need to go into the fridge.

What is the color of this product? Is it clear? Need clear for colonoscopy prep. No red or purple dyes.

This is a milky-white color. Most pharmacies carry the clear magnesium for colonoscopy prep and it is cheaper than most liquid magnesium supplements that are used daily for therapeutic properties.
