Safety & comfort first!
A sturdy and stable step ladder with nice, wide comfy steps. The ladder is remarkably light, so I can carry it around the house easily. It folds flat and stores out of the way behind a door, in a closet, etc. It's well-built, folds and unfolds easily, remains stable in use, and is made to last. Also, the handy top shelf is great for fasteners and tools, and the top handle is wonderful for climbing stability (I'm ancient). There are cheaper step ladders but my safety is priceless!

Very Impressed. Sturdy and Easy to Put Together
As I have grown older, I have become increasingly nervous about using my little 2-step stool without handles. So I came to Amazon to see what I could find. I saw many choices, but not what I was looking for, until I saw the HB Tower step ladders. I was a little nervous about the reviews that warned of a lack of quality control, but I felt there were enough 5-star reviews to take the plunge. This is sturdy, well-built, and the parts fit together like a glove. The handle is the perfect height for me, and I used the ladder today to clean out the gutter along my patio. It worked great, and I felt very confident using it. No concerns for my safety. It was a little heavier than I expected, but that just added to the sturdy construction. I am very happy with my purchase.

Very reliable step ladder. Handy dandy!
I’ve been needing one of these for so long and it took me awhile to actually buy it! I’m so happy with it. The assembly was minor. A few screws and done. The quality is heavy duty but lightweight. The steps are large so if you have big feet or used boots/shoes on it you won’t have to worry about space or it being too narrow. It’s a really thick plastic and has bumps for grip. Also, has rubber grid under each for that work really well with keeping the ladder still on wood flooring, tile and engineered flooring which i have all 3 types in my home and have used it on each. It’s easy to open and close. The bar is rather long which I like cause it gives me more stability when having to hold on. The tray is very handy. I have used this to pick fruits of my tree by placing loose fruit on the tray till I was done. I’ve used it to do touch up painting and also put dishes up in higher cabinets. All of which I can place on tray while I get up. It’s stable and reliable. It doesn’t rock or wobble when climbing up or down. I really like this step ladder. When not in use it folds up thin and can be stored out of the way. The handle allows it to be hung on hooks. I haven’t found anything about this ladder that I don’t like. It is a well made, well planned out step ladder. I would buy one again if ever needed. The cost was average to other step ladders.

Seems sturdy
I like this step ladder: It is sturdy, stable, and (fairly) easy to assemble and use. It folds flat - about 1-1/2" thick - for out-of-the-way storage when not in use. It's frame is substantial metal tubing with a good finish coating; its treads and tray are a heavy-duty plastic. Although I have not yet used its "tool tray", it appears that the compartmented tray would securely hold several types of hand tools, a paint can, etc. if needed. The only pre-assembly required after unpacking is to remove two protective caps from the main frame's tubing, then attach the upper handle (with its pre-attached tool tray) to the main frame. This involves inserting the two ends of the handle's formed tubing into the frame's tubing and securing it with a pair of two-piece screw fasteners. Then, the free ends of two pre-attached tray support arms are attached to opposite sides of the top tread, each using one two-piece screw fastener. Assembly is quick and (fairly*) easy. (*) The unit that I received may have suffered some shipping damage - or possibly it has a manufacturing defect - which resulted in some difficulty when aligning the handle for insertion into the main frame. Also, the ladder's feet are slightly uneven, which allows the ladder to "rock" slightly when not loaded (although fortunately it "settles" when I get onto it and feels completely stable during use). I thought perhaps one or more of the "feet" were not fully seated onto the legs of the frame, but I was unable to move them. (Perhaps they are glued in place?) The only other (minor) problems that I've noticed when using the ladder are: - It seems "stiff" and a bit difficult to open and close. (It may "loosen" after more use - or perhaps some lube may help). - Upon opening fully, it "latches"... but apparently *something* does not engage fully at that time because it always produces a loud - and startling - "snap" the first time I step on it after opening it. (Getting off/on the open ladder again does not cause any more "snap" sounds, but each time the ladder is re-opened, it will make the "snap" sound the first time I step onto it). I have not been able to find what causes the "snap" - the "latch" seems to be fully engaged before and after the "snap" occurs, so...??? Anyway, nothing appears to be wrong as a result of the "snap"; it just is a bit unnerving because it sounds like something "breaks" when I step on it the first time. Weird! Maybe it's a "reminder" to be careful when climbing the ladder... ;-)

Finally, a ladder that doesn’t wobble
Easy assembly, no swearing required. Once it’s up, this ladder feels rock-solid—no sketchy wobble when you’re reaching for that top shelf. The wide non-slip pedals give you confidence, and the tool tray is a clever touch that saves you from juggling screws in your pockets. I used it to hang holiday lights and felt like a pro instead of a tightrope walker. Compact enough to fold away, sturdy enough to trust—this one earns its keep.
