Parallel: The Parallel Series, Book 1

Wow!What a crazy, wild ride this book took me on.I'm glad the second book is on KU, but if it wasn't, it would be one of the VERY few books I would have bought just to finish this amazing story. I can already tell this duet will be a reread for me. And yes, I believe it is only a duet even though it has 4 books in the series. I checked and the other 2 books are about a different couple. So, unless something ties them together more than I expect in book 2, you could read book 1 and 2 and not read books 3 and 4. I will confirm this, (or say differently), in my review of book 2.I will also check out more of this authors work, since this is the only book I've read by them.Books like this have been hard for me to find. Most are simply contemporary or a different type of PNR (such as vampires, omega...) but this one is different. I wish I could find more like it!My usual sum up would not make a lot of sense due to the uniqueness of the storyline so I will only give a few.To sum up:POV: First person dual POVHeat factor: 3 out of 5, but expect book 2 will be higherCharacter relatablity: 5 out of 5 - even though the storyline isn't really relatablity the characters areStoryline: beyond 5 unique starsWho I would recommend this to: people that want to escape reality for a while and don't mind thinking outside of the box labeled "normal".

This was my first book by Elle O’Roark and she had my attention since the beginning! I really enjoyed it and wasn’t expecting all the events to take place.I can’t wait to start Intersect and find out what happens next for Quinn and Nick!***Audiobook Review***This was my first audiobook with Samantha Brentmoor and if I’m being honest, I think I have a new girl crush! She was amazing as Quinn!! *chef kiss* And Jason Clarke as Nick, phenomenal job!

Well, I went in to this book not knowing what to expect and I have to say that I loved it. Really excited to get in to the next one.

Wow! This story has everything. Science fiction, romance, and mystery. Nick and Quinn feel like they have been together for years, but just met. How is it possible?

One of the most EPIC LOVE STORIES I’ve ever read! Simply amazing and a MUST READ!I’ve read a few of Elizabeth O’Roark’s books before, but it’s been a bit. Last week I found Parallel and downloaded it immediately. So excited to have found a new book of hers to read. Parallel is most definitely my favorite Elizabeth O’Roark book.I am so in love with Nick and Quinn! Their life story is as much a fairytale as it is a nightmare. Imagine loving someone so deeply that spending even the littlest time away from them causes you so much anxiety but then to be without them and not even know why....absolutely devastating! I can’t imagine being without the love of my life. This isn’t just their love story...this is a love that spans over LIFETIMES!!! A love so strong that nothing; no one...not even time can withstand it. Yet it tries.After an incident lands Quinn in the hospital where Nick works; the two encounter each other when Quinn needs medical attention. They feel this intense and immediate connection unlike anything they’ve ever felt with anyone else. Nick and Quinn feel like they’ve know each other their entire lives, yet these memories feel more like dreams. So many memories.....Childhood best friends, high school sweethearts, college loves.. They have these feelings for each other and memories together that can’t be explained. Their attraction to each other is OFF THE CHARTS HOTTTT too! Trying to figure out what their past together was and what happened; they journey together to find answers. Only Quinn is engaged to be married and Nick has a girlfriend. With everyone standing in their way and only more obstacles piling up while they also try to fight their attraction to each other. The things they find out along the way are MINDBLOWING! At this point they aren’t sure what their next steps even need to be; just that they might just want to stop fighting this crazy attraction they feel for each other. What’s going to happen if they do!?!?HOLY HOTNESS! I’m not sure the last time I read a book that I was actually rooting for the heroine to get the hero instead of me. I guess if we are going to be honest, I should admit that I was secretly hoping to go to sleep and dream of Nick Reilly! He’s just so amazingly perfect but with sexy flaws...if that’s even possible! Yea it totally is possible! Quinn is simply amazing! So strong yet at the same time after a lifetime of trying to appease everyone else she just wants to stop and put herself first for once. I found myself rooting her on time and time again while at the same time literally fussing at her aloud over her letting people run over her. It was amazing to watch her come into herself during the book. I loved her friends, they are so fiercely protective of her and that’s the way it should be! Don’t get me started on Quinn’s fiance & Nick’s girlfriend though!This will go down as one of my TOP READS OF 2019! Absolutely amazing read!

I've been in a rut not finding anything that made me feel like it's me falling in love nothing keeping me glued to my Kindle well this was IT! Downloaded it kinda waiting to be disappointed and oh was I wrong first of all I absolutely adore time travel books the characters OMG loved them both the story just flowed beautifully and I'm dying to read the next one !!

The story grabbed me from the start. The premise is intriguing and mystery draggs you in ...There was a lot of will they... won't they moments and I really can't decide if I felt like it dragged on a little too long to reach big moments. I think maybe I was frustrated with the characters choices more than the writing... and if I'm really honest... If you were to apply those decisions to real life... you wouldn't blame a person for taking the time to make life changing decisions so maybe it was more me than the book... but either way I felt it worth mentioning as it's the only issue I really had.The book leaves a big chunk unexplained... but I'm hoping thats because it only comes into play in book 2.All in all I felt every tortured moment of this couples struggle... I felt the worry and pain...and love... and happiness .I would definitely recommend this and book 2 is downloading as we speak so you can see I cant wait to read the rest.

A very well-written novel that had me hooked from the first page. I felt I was 'there' with the characters the whole way through. Looking forward to book two!

I couldn’t put this book down and after its cliffhanger end, am sleep deprived. A story of two soul-mates who’ve been separated time and time again. Will Quinn & Nick find a way to stay together? God, I hope so. I’m relieved I don’t have to wait for the sequel in this duology,

Would highly recommend this book.I was captivated from the start and was rooting for the main characters, even getting annoyed when quinn was taking too long to make the right decision.Can not wait to read the next one.
