I love this table but the install wasn’t smooth, I’m glad I watched some YouTube videos before buying and installing. The included template had the holes slightly off from where they are actually located on the metal bracket so I had to remark them on the template before drilling into the metal. They should include the nut to help screw the inserts into the door. My install worked but I had to make slight modifications to keep it secure and from rattling. All in all I don’t know if I’ll put 50+ lbs on the table but it will be handy for some lighter than 50lbs items and it is definitely much better than the Ford made table. I also looked at a review and modified the cup hole with some nylon straps to help hold cans or straight sided bottles and prevent them from falling through.

Awesome product. Didn't like drilling into the body of the wrangler, but trade off is I now have a sturdy camping table on the jk. If you don't mind some drilling, 100% buy.

Be careful
I have to start with I was a huge fan of Rough Country before this experience! Table is solid/sturdy. Absolutely horrible install. Instructions are lacking, template is wrong! Can’t believe they haven’t corrected this—nothing like drilling holes in your $50k jeep just to have it be WRONG! Then when I called customer service the guy had the audacity to say I don’t think this could have happened before or it would have been fixed. Well actually sir there are other reviews that say the same thing! Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews before install! Now I have “extra “ holes in my tailgate. The KICKER—he never offered to do ANYTHING! Unbelievable unhappy with Rough Country!

You will end up using your own hardware
What should’ve been a quick and easy install resulted in time wasted going to the hardware store and getting new hardware to secure the table correctly. 1st thing to note- the template holes do not line up with the holes for the bracket that secures the table. 2- you have to drill holes into your tailgate and then use the hardware provided to secure the rivets ( the hardware fell apart) in the hole to which you will then use the screws to secure the bracket. To make a long story short the rivets came out and the table came crashing down. I had to go to the store to get hardware to mount the table. If I could return this table I would. I won’t just because the holes have been drilled in my tailgate already.

Love it!
Looks and works great. I had to use a self tapping screw since one of the rivots did not install properly. No issues though. We had our first picnic on it. Great buy!
