Q: I had to quit using the regular blue Dawn years ago because it’s harsh on my hands. Is this product better for sensitive hands?

It depends what is causing the reaction to your hands. I am allergic to phenoxyethanol, which Dawn uses as a preservative, so I cannot use it. It also uses Methylisothiazolinone which some people are allergic to as well. And, it contains "fragrance", so again, depends on what is causing the reaction to your hands.

Q: is this product safe in fabric? Could it be used to remove grease (makeup) stain when hand washing garment?

I use dawn to remove grease stains on clothing before putting it in the wash. Just add a drop to the stain & rub it in . This has even worked on old grease stains that wouldn't come out with regular detergent. One time I used the blue colored Dawn a few days before I put the garment in the wash & the blue color would never come out so I always use the clear.

I too use regular Dawn. I have a 2-year-old who lives to help with the dishes and the regular Dawn was too harsh. No problem with this product.
