I got a waffle cone maker, but as we all know, you need to stand these things up afterwards so when I came across these small stands, which I was surprised to find I got them and yes, they worked out fine. They hold up the finished item so that we can fill them with lots of good ice cream. Yes, they work!

I enjoy making ice cream cones for my daughter, and it can be a pain to try to keep the cone upright while scooping the ice cream. I used a cup to hold the cone, but it always ended up tipping when I would set it down to put the ice cream away. So when I saw these, I figured why not try them. My first impression was that they are very small, and not particularly heavy. They're around 1" tall/wide. I was pretty dubious that they'd work, and figured they'd probably tip pretty easily. However, I was actually pleasantly surprised. I have used these multiple times with sugar cones and waffle cones. I place the cone in the holder. Scoop the ice cream and place it on the cone (I often will hold the cone gently while I add the ice cream), then I can walk away while I put the ice cream back in the freezer or add toppings, and the ice cream cone stays exactly where I left it. It's much better than the cups I was using before, which nearly always tipped if I wasn't holding them. A few reasons why I think they work for me. Your mileage may vary, so keep these things in mind. I don't use huge scoops. My scoop fits within the sugar cone. If you use a larger scoop, and the scoop is off-center, it may tip. I gently hold the cone while I add the ice cream, because the jostling of adding the ice cream could cause it to tip. But once the ice cream is added to the cone, I can let go and it stays put. It's all about the center of gravity. If the center of gravity is above the cone holder, it will hold. If the center of gravity shifts, it's going to tip. The product info does not say whether these are dishwasher safe, and I haven't put them in the dishwasher. They are pretty easy to wash by hand, so I don't mind. All in all, while these weren't exactly what I was hoping, they work quite well for my purpose and for the price.

I sent them back. So small that cone cannot be stand. Maybe for miniature cones works but not for my purpose.

I was worried that these wouldn’t be able to hold a cone safely, but I’m glad to report that I was wrong. They do exactly what they claim, and they do it well. They are the perfect size to hold an ice cream cone. They hold them securely upright, even with the added weight of ice cream. They are extremely lightweight, and having dropped them a few times I can tell you that they are very durable.

Totally cannot be used for cone display. Product is micro small would not hold a loaded cone..useless pieces

This ice cream holder/stand is cute for ice cream day for the kids party. Adds a little extra decor touch to the ice cream setting. The kids loved the fancy display while making it easier for them to add the toppings that they like. Great for pictures. I Love these little cute ice cream cone holders! I have always pictured these with Trader Joe’s “Hold the Cone” ice cream deserts and I am not disappointed! The size is perfect for my deserts and hold it firmly while I take breaks and set them down. As a solid piece of acrylic, they are sturdy and beautiful. Both function AND beauty!
