Pink has decent adhesion. Purple has almost none.
I purchased 2 rolls from this listing: One purple and one pink.My primary use is to mark cables, so these less usual colors seemed like a good purchase. The pink tape had pretty good adhesion. Not as good as regular ol' 3M electrical tape, though. (Which I would absolutely recommend over any cheap/off brand if you're actually using it for line voltage -- or higher -- applications). The purple tape barely adhered to itself, let alone the jackets of various cables. It's also a sort of brownish-purple. Very dull and muddy, unlike the photo in the product listing where it looks nearly fluorescent. It's comparable to 3M violet tape, though the 3M is a tad more vibrant.I uploaded a picture so you can compare. I included a roll of TradeGear purple tape which is, well, actually purple.(The TradeGear tape also suffers from adhesive consistency problems, but is FAR better value for money if you're looking for color variety. The colors of the actual rolls of tape match the product photos: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LY3FG50/ )The cardboard spindles also have different markings: The purple tape gives the brand as "Teno Tape", and declares UL and CE certification. The pink tape has no brand markings, and has UL and CSA logos. Both tapes have a glossy finish. The spindles have a 1.5" ID, vs 1" for common 3/4" 3M tape. I only mention this if you plan on using it with a dispenser.I tested both tapes to 500V, and they both passed. (I know they're rated to 600V, but unfortunately my insulation tester maxes out at 500V.)Bottom line: Don't buy these, mainly due to the inconsistency. I only got the two colors, but it gives me no confidence whatsoever in the others. If they're all coming from different manufacturers (which I can't prove but can infer), then it's basically playing tape roulette.

BEWARE: IT'S NOT REALLY WHITE, it's light grey, so if you want white, PASS !
This is NOT white tape— and this is the second time in 2 years I have ordered this product. It is between 5-10% light-grey color (SEE PHOTO) and while it may suit the needs of 95% of users, I ordered this to match as close as I could a white baseboard. This is not even close. NOTE TO VENDOR, and Note to AFS : Please take greater care to check accuracy of descriptions. This is a known problem, and this should not be allowed to be advertised as white— it wastes people's time — and your own resources to have to issue an RMA, shipping label, and go through all that.As to the performance of the tape— when I bought it 2 years ago to seal up a white A/C window unit, it performed excellently, and the seal is still perfect.

Do Not Buy
This isn't electrical tape. The label says "teno tape" and it's:- Shiny, not matte like electrical tape should be- Half as sticky as electrical tape- Thinner than electrical tapeMy 2 cents: Do not buy this product if you want electrical tape.

This Didn't Work Well For My Needs
I used this tape to mark my suitcase while traveling abroad. I'm blind, and I always need a distinct description of my luggage when traveling, so I can tell airport personnel what to look for. This tape didn't adhere to my hard-shell luggage very well. I put tons on, so enough of it survived the trip there and back, but it was a pretty pitiful sight indeed. I think if you're wrapping wires, this tape would be ideal, but for my needs, it wasn't the most effective. It needed much more adhesion to make it through unscathed.

Smooth Surface, White Tape
If you need white tape with a smooth surface, this is the right tape.I needed a white tape to cover a crack in a piece of plastic. It had to be smooth and white to blend in. This worked well. It does have a tendency to deform a little if you stretch it. But, so long as you take care in handling it, it works well. This is just like electrical tape, but white in color. The adhesive is not quite as goopy as typical electrical tape. The wide width makes it suitable for wrapping outlets and switches with exposed screw contacts.

Meh - not opaque (yellow)
I wanted to use this for high-visibility labels on the outside of plastic storage boxes. I had been using a roll of 3M yellow electrical tape and it worked great, but I wanted wider tape so I could fit more writing. Unfortunately, for this application, this is disappointing. The tape is thinner than traditional, high-quality electrical tape and it is not opaque. The background (dark) plastic color shows through which dramatically reduces contrast. I mean it's still yellow tape, but not nearly as good as I was hoping.

Great for the price
I used this to refinish the sides of dresser drawers and it worked really well - easy to cut and you're able to place and replace the pieces as needed. Standard electrical tape. I haven't had any issues with it peeling off, but it's not in locations that are touched/moved a lot or on flexible surfaces. I took one star off because it does stretch while trying to peel it off the roll, which is annoying because I wound up having to peel off feet at a time and then let it reshape itself before being able to stick it down.

Great in cutting rope, I love it.
I bought this tape to keep a Twisted Cotton 1/2 " Rope from unraveling when cut. The tape sticks to itself very tightly and when you remove it from the Rope it doesn't leave any glue behind. It works perfectly for. I taped the rope first and then cut it in the middle of the tape, leaving 1" of tape on the cut off part and 1" on the remaining rope.
