Great Book!
I bought this book for my grandson and he loves it so much I bought one for my nephew. The book is a learning tool for children to help them understand how children from around the world live. I definitely recommend this book!

Kudos to the writer
An awesome book! Every kid needs to read this. It teaches them that there are other kids just like them living in other parts of the world.

Very unique
My son loves this book. It's definitely different than your typical book and in my opinion meant for a little older kids but even at 4 he likes it. He gets a kick out of the kids drinking coffee for lunch and dinner ☕

Awesome!
Awesome book! My 6 year old has a special interest in different cultures and this was a perfect gift for her. She had so many questions and comments as we read, it took a solid hour to get through the whole thing. Not complaining! It's great to keep her attention for that long.

Great book although a bit hard to follow!
Great book describing different children around the world and their everyday lives! It doesn’t read like a typical reading book (front to back) but it requires the reader to constantly flip the pages to remember which child each description belongs to. My little one loved the last page where it showed actual photos of the children with their families.

my 5 and 6 year olds LOVE this book!!
I had this book on my wish list for quite awhile and went back and forth as to whether I'd get it or not. I did get it and wish I had got it sooner. We don't have a lot of money to travel but we are being very diligent in trying to raise our kids with a broad understanding of the world we live in and realistic ideas of what life is like in other countries for other kids. My 6 year old son and 5 year old daughter LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!! ...and we have a lot of good kids' books in our home library. They flipped the pages back and forth a lot to see the map/kids' profiles when we first got it but now they have the entire book pretty much memorized and still can't get enough of it. My daughter especially loves it enough to want to sleep with it. She saw me writing this review, saw the little picture of the book and said "There's my book!!! That's my favorite book!!"

Better than Dinosaurs
I bought this as a birthday gift for a toddler, fully expecting the child to ignore it once gifts were opened. Ya know, how can a simple book compete with Thomas the Train, Dinosaurs, and Batman? As it turned out, once this book was opened he was suddenly not interested in Batman or Dinosaurs. He was fully immersed into the wonderful sights and colors on the pages. He took it immediately to his reading area and waited for one of the parents to figure out that present opening was over - it was story time!I was so delighted that he enjoyed his gift (there were other reading time gifts too but this book was his clear favorite) and his parents appreciated that it wasn't Thomas the Train.
