If you're looking for a very basic step counter, this is it. How basic? No app, no heart/pulse/respiration/etc. monitoring, no clock, no route planner, no training tips, no complicated "how to measure your standard stride/step" set-up, etc.And that's why I chose THIS unit. I just want a lightweight step counter and that's what I now have with my 3D FitBud. The FitBud keeps very similar and faithful track of my steps when compared with my cph app.Easy to use. All you do is activate the battery, slip the FitBud to your jeans, shirt, whatever, and start walking!I LOVE that the FitBud snoozes when I am not walking and promptly resumes counting when I start walking again. No need to reset or tap to wake it up before resuming a walk.At the end of my day, I log the steps recorded on the FitBud and then clear the day's steps by holding the reset button for a few seconds until the screen clears. Next day, I pick it up and clip it, and start my day's steps counting again.The only downside (slight) is that the lens of the FitBud is somewhat easy to scratch. I brushed against something on the very first day of use and found a scratch across the lens. Now, I clip the FitBud on my jeans pocket with the lens side inside the pocket. Problem solved.The FitBud comes in a number of great colors. The modest price of the FitBud is so great that you can even have a wardrobe of FBs to suit your color preference of the day!Easy to use, lightweight, accurate, color choices, great price. Great buy.

I bought this to encourage myself to walk more. It definitely keeps me accountable to myself. Once in awhile though, the count goes wonky and my steps jump by way too high. For the price and simplicity of use though, I'd recommend it.

I can't say for sure if the count is accurate but seems to be close to the numbers achieved in the past for other timed walks readout is large but not lit. I just wish someone would design these with reset button on the opposite side of the device so it isn't touched accidentally. Still, for the price worth it

Just went through the washer on HOT and still works ! We love this perfect little step counter and just ordered a second one, in purple. No need to look further. Quality for price is excellent.

Don't waste your money. I wish I could return. Weather started getting nice enough that I could start walking and I was wanting to start counting steps. This counter is next to useless. Many times as soon as I put it on it registers 14, 16 steps before I even get up. I don't expect exactness, but would like a close idea of the steps I'm taking. No matter how I wear it, waist or ankle, it's not even close to accurate.

I've spend gobs of money on Fitbits with features I didn't need. Lots of money. Then I found this simple fellow and haven't looked back. It clips to your waist band and counts steps. Thank you (that's all I need)! You reset it with a simple push button each morning; if you forget to reset, it's not the end of the world (can you handle two days worth of steps). I've never even had to replace its battery after two years of daily use. The cute colors are bonus. Highly recommend if you're fed up with "features" like I was.
