Much better than I had expected!
I am so happy with this tent that I am purchasing another! I live in SWFL and the wind at vendor events is always a battle. This tent never moved while others with the traditional 10x10 pop up style tents were freaking out, my little tent weathered the gusts with ease. I did use the included weight bags and had 32oz bottles (2 on each leg) strapped to each leg. The angle of the tent topper was perfect.Putting this up was so easy. I tested it twice at home before taking it out so I wouldn't get frustrated at the event. Easy Peasy. It's lightweight to tote and toss on the shoulder like a giant purse. In all honesty, I thought this might be flimsy and a waste of $$ but so pleasantly surprised.Only draw backs (and they are small ones). When popping into the completely extended arc, it doesn't lock so if someone touches the handle, it losses support and is difficult for someone 5ft to push back up. I settled the issue by using a small velcro strap wrapped tight around the top of the leg when fully supported (1 inch below the black stop bumper). That little extra support kept everything in place perfectly. Another small issue is 2 small tears (looks like burn marks). However I reached out to the company with that issue and they resolved it immediately.

Cool looking, but needs a gentle touch
I really like this canopy... well the way it looks anyway. Have some doubts about durability but with patience and a light touch I believe it will be fine. I don't think this is the best choice for those who will set it up for a long term stay in the sun, but an occasional couple day or week+ then back in the bag it should last at least a couple seasons. After reading about others tops sun rotting and ripping I am going to spray mine with a UV protectant as it is a pretty thin material. Had no problems setting it up, took a minute to realize that the legs have two extensions not just one, the second one is tucked up inside the middle leg and hard to see. Staking the leg opposite of the yellow pull handle is a key, then lift and walk backward... Set it up the first time with the sail not installed, after you see how it works lower it a bit then install the sail. No need to remove it after that when stowing the canopy. At 60 bucks I'm good with it even if it only lasts a couple of seasons... with minor care it should last longer anyway.

Buy it for the frame, not the fabric.
I purchased this because I liked the way the frame was laid out - I wanted shade without the umbrella-effect that would make take off like Mary Poppins the next time we had a little wind. It's kind of like those sails you see people set up in their back yards.I recommend you ONLY PURCHASE THIS IF YOU LIKE THE FRAME and are willing to replace it with something... non-standard.That is because I live in Arizona. The canopy shredded in the heat only 4 months into having it and before our non-soon hit. There is no official replacement for the canopy, but I ended up buying a cheap white 9x12 Canvas cloth for ~$22 (the kind you use for painting) and some hose clamps (one for each corner) at ~$10 to keep it up there. Not the most classy of solutions, but considering I was looking for a quick&cheap option, it was better than tossing the whole thing. If/when I want something that looks better, I know that there are better-looking canvases out there I can put on top of it, and there are strong hand-clamps I can use that are more convenient should I want to be able to take down the canopy in high winds.Keep in mind that because of the non-standard way the 4 corners are positioned, it's a little interesting to initially set up... especially for one person. Two diagonal corners (including the one with the handle) are raised higher while the other two diagonal corners are more-or-less flat.Put the top on first before extending it fully. You will save yourself so much time. As for the height, wait to do that for last... you will have an easier time if you do. However, the legs have that retracting/spring-pin mechanism, so be careful not to pinch your fingers getting it to the right height because it's heavier than it seems.I would also advise taking advantage of those plastic stoppers that you can unscrew if necessary... helps keep the thing from folding up on the two low-ends. There's no mention of them in the instructions, but they are there. Also, don't rely on the feet to keep it in position unless you intend on pounding anchors into them. The feet are black plastic. I find it better to use weights to keep the thing firmly in place. Remember, it's not an umbrella because there are no sides.

Trash
The company sent me a broken canopy with a broken arm and broken leg leg the piece that keeps the legs connected and up. Im not sure if it was broken because it was so flimsy or it was broken when packaging. On the good side it is lightweightHowever as for easily setting up the legs were broke so that may have been on influence on the difficult time we had setting it up

Worth the money, and easy to set up and transport
I bought this for camping because it said can be put up alone . I am 5’5 and female So I tackled It once I arrived in camp. Once I read the directions I was able to set this up by myself. The key point is make to sure the leg opposite the handle is staked in the ground firmly . The stakes came out several times which made it difficult to put up as I set up. Then the handle is raised and it allows the frame to move up where it is supposed to be for correct set up. I had to try this several times before it actually was up properly. Attach the cover before the last step. I love this shade , it has a different design , but the coverage was very good and seemed pretty stable to handle the windy gusts in camp. I was in hot area and it provided shade for myself and a large dog. It is also easy to take down , or to just remove the cover when u leave camp.

Great for the price
It won’t last forever, since both the frame and canopy are quite light. But that’s my favorite feature since it is easy to put up, and move around the yard as I need shade to work in the garden. The adjustable height is also great since I can protect from the setting or rising sun.
