I’m writing this review because I wish someone had explained vaginal flora and the microbiome to me a long time ago. For quite a while, I had an off vaginal scent that would come and go. I tried boric acid suppositories, and they absolutely helped while I was using them. The problem was that once I stopped, within about 2–3 days the scent would return. I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life feeling like I had to insert boric acid just to feel normal, especially because it was also making me self-conscious about intimacy. I also got caught in the cycle of trying to “fix” the scent myself. I would occasionally douche because I thought I needed to clean or freshen things up, not realizing that repeatedly trying to correct the problem that way could potentially disrupt the vaginal environment even more. Eventually I went to my gynecologist and had an actual evaluation. BV and STI testing were negative, and she didn’t find an infection or anything else concerning. She explained that what I was experiencing could simply be an imbalance in my normal vaginal flora/microbiome. That sent me down a rabbit hole learning about the vaginal microbiome, Lactobacillus and how the vagina normally maintains its own environment. That was a lightbulb moment for me. I had spent so much time focused on getting rid of a smell that I had never really thought about whether the underlying bacterial balance itself was off. That’s why I decided to try this product. I honestly cannot believe the difference after my first dose. By the next morning, the scent was dramatically closer to my normal baseline. I also noticed WAY less discharge. I even waited and paid attention over the following days because I wanted to make sure I wasn’t just convincing myself that something had changed. The difference has been very noticeable for me. I still have another dose to take according to the product schedule, so I’ll update my review regarding how the results hold up long term. But so far, this has been completely different from my experience with boric acid. With boric acid, I felt like I was temporarily controlling the symptom. With this, I’m finally addressing the flora imbalance my gynecologist had actually discussed with me. Most importantly: PLEASE go to your gynecologist first if you have persistent or unusual odor or discharge. Don’t assume you have the same thing I did. Get checked for BV, yeast, STIs and anything else your doctor thinks is appropriate. This review is about what happened after I had already been evaluated and those things were ruled out. I’m sharing this because vaginal odor can make you incredibly self-conscious, and it’s easy to fall into a cycle of boric acid, douching or constantly trying to cover up the symptom. In my case, learning about my normal flora and actually addressing that has made an enormous difference. I genuinely wish I had known all of this sooner

It really helps me feel a complete balance I use them twice a month as my OBGYN suggested and I feel much happier with that overall health. Definitely put in the fridge for about 20 minutes before use to make sure it's as firm as possible.

This took forever to get. Said it was arriving but never shipped. Finally got it and it works really well. I ordered the larger quantity for next time.

I had trouble since menopause with sex. Dry and burning when my husband comes. I used lubricant but the burning continued. When I used this product it set me free. I can please my husband without pain.
