Actually, it’s not a slow sinking one
Sinks too fast and many fishes are unable to grab it

I started using this food basically because of its colour. I was having issues with my water turning red from other foods. I have no red colour in my water. Within a few days of feeding this my fish had much brighter colour. I haven't seen any sink but it also doesn't last long enough to have a chance to sink. The zippy part of the bag wasn't functional but that doesn't bother me. My fish eat it with no issues and they have turned away from much more expensive kinds. I'm very happy with the food and I'm pretty sure my fish are too!

This is my go to pellet food for most of my aquarium fish. Many reviews complain about how fast they fall, but ironically, I intentionally purchased these BECAUSE they sink quicker. I have many catfish, cichlids, plecos, loaches and bichirs that feed primarily towards the bottom of the tank. Most fish other than strict bottom feeders will have no problem finding these on the bottom and eating them - even my barbs will pick at them over flakes. Definitely make sure to only feed what the fish will eat in a reasonable amount of time (5-10 minutes) otherwise any food will start fouling the water.

I had another brand of "Slow Sinking" Cichlid food made by Hikari and those pellets will float for at least 10 to 15 minutes before sinking, if the top feeding fish don't eat them first! I bought this brand due to the fact the description says "Slow Sinking". Whelp... as soon as these hit the water they sink like a stone! Very disappointed. At least the bottom feeders get to enjoy them. Needless to say, I won't be buying this brand again, once the bag is gone. Edit: Even though these pellets don't float at all, my bottom feeding fish do like them. I've ordered another bag and will order more when it is gone, even though I originally stated I wouldn't! I've also changed my rating to 4 stars. Would be great if the description was more accurate so people knew what they were buying. As long as the fish like it, that's what counts!
