Lovely looking watch. I have the white one also and now have difficulty deciding which one to wear. Time keeping is excellent as is the clarity of the face. One thing to know is that the photo is slightly misleading. The one I received has bright white hands but the numerals are a subtle grey colour. In the picture they appear white. Very happy with the watch.

Elegant design. And that's about it... Two same watches bought, both had the same problem. Stopped working after around 1 year. Embedded obsolescence at it's best example. Company should be fined for that practice in 2024, when we all trying to live more green rather than adding to landfill. Seriously don't bother, waste of money, save your time because braun customer service is non existent, and if it's over a year you need to contact amazon customer service. Thankfully amazon did it right.

The spare strap is made of silicone rubber. It is easy to change them without any tools, as both have quick-release spring bars. The numerals on the dial are easily read. The dial has mineral glass, which is scratch-resistant. The watch comes with a 2-year guarantee as well. A good quality wristwatch for £38.00.

This Braun 2-Hand Analogue Quartz Watch with its ageless black face is elegant and has style in spades. The black dial with Arabic numbers in contrasting white are simple, easy to read and minimalist. The makers Braun really have captured the concept of ‘less, but better’ inspired by the Bauhaus Movement. That black face is really enhanced by the good quality, plain blue silicone strap. As a bonus you get an extra Black Silicone Rubber strap. This almost means you have two styles for the price of one. Both straps feature quick release spring-bars and are really easy to switch over. I would also like to tell you that Braun do a similar watch with an elegant leather strap with a spare blue silicone one this seems to be the better choice than the two silicone ones) The watch is water proof so think of rain and splashes rather than deep diving. Of course you do wear the watch it in the pool for paddling or swimming change those silicone straps will shrug off the water and come up still looking good. The watch is stylish but looks like it can take some 'hammer' with wear and tear and it is inexpensive. Right the looks are good, great even but the better news is that at the heart of the watch is a really accurate quartz movement. Ironically the accuracy is better even than the beat of my Rolex or my beloved Seiko 'Orange and Blue Monster' watches but at a fraction of the price. The price is great less than £39 at the time of writing which is an absolute steal for the quality and style. Totally recommended.

Although the manufacturer's product photos show silver hands, which match the numbers, case and buckle, this watch's hands are actually white gloss enamel. You can see the real colour on the last photo in the gallery, which was taken by Amazon with an actual watch. I don't know why they made this change. It doesn't exactly ruin the watch but the main point of the design is perfected minimalism, so it's a shame and is out of place. Otherwise this would've been a rare bargain. The case is satin-finished machined alloy with a perfectly judged bevel to the bezel, the glass is perfectly thin and exactly the right number of microns proud of the case. The typeface is elegant and the black leather strap with its coordinated alloy buckle pulls the whole thing together. Everything is square, clean, and finished just right, even the battery door, which is a big achievement for what is basically a budget watch. I'm not so sure about the extra plastic strap. It's very comfortable, but black and navy blue is not a good combination. A black plastic would've been far nicer. I wonder if they felt compelled to include an extra strap as a bonus and were stuck for a third colour that would match a two-colour watch. Like all matte plastic watch straps, it picks up glossy scuffs and worn patches really easily: I've not even worn this strap for a day yet and it has scuffs. It's easily replaced with any other 22mm watch strap though. Incidentally the included straps are sized for about 160-225mm wrists. As a last note, there's no manual or warranty with the watch. Instead you get a QR code which takes you to a site where you should be able to register your warranty. On that page there's a link to a manuals page where you can look up your watch's model number, but this model isn't actually on there. You won't need instructions on how to actually use the watch, and based on the other manuals you're not going to get information like the type of battery it takes or anything, so I doubt this matters.

Tuesday, 28 May 2024 Braun states on its packaging that "This watch embodies the Braun ethos of 'less but better' through clean and modern design." It does. This watch is very well designed. There is no second hand to distract you when you are trying to tell the time. The quartz movement seems to be a cut above the cheap Chinese quartz movements that jerk when you try to set the time. This movement (provenance unknown) is stable when you set the time and up to now shows the accuracy you expect from a quartz movement. Previous reviewers have expressed two concerns: 1. The battery and 2. The wristband. First, the battery. The watch did not have a plastic battery-use inhibitor (a piece of plastic to make sure the battery is not used in storage and transport). Most high-end watches are packed with one. Fortunately, the watch I received had the crown pulled away from the watch case and the battery was not engaged. I hope that I will have a normal battery life. Time will tell! Second, the wristband. The wristband that comes with the watch is rather thin and is made of a composite material. On the wristband itself there is printed "Genuine leather upper". This implies that the inner portion of the wristband is not leather. The upper portion, the portion on the outside of the wristband, appears to be made of bonded leather, the kind of leather that you find on some books. The material used on the inner portion of the wristband, the material against your skin, is not stated. In any case, it is comfortable. The wristband is designed to be very easy to take off and replaced with the silicone wristband that also comes with the watch. My first impressions of this watch are good. The easy- to-read dial, the clean understated design and its light-weight make this watch stand out. Best regards, Michael Ennis.

Orologio non di materiali pregiati ma ben fatto. Minimalista e fine ... a me piace. A parer mio ottimo per qualità/prezzo.
