Dog chaos contained — walls intact
Why I bought it: We use pressure-mounted gates for dogs, not kids, and I was tired of watching them dig into the drywall. These little protectors help spread out the pressure and keep the walls from looking like a toddler with a screwdriver lived here. ⸻ What worked: • The rubber backing doesn’t leave marks — even on painted walls • They grip solid — gates stay put even when the doorbell rings and all hell breaks loose • The low profile means they don’t look ridiculous or draw attention ⸻ What could be better: • Slight learning curve to line them up right if your gate doesn’t have level tension especially with quarter round base trim • Would love a few color options — but black blends in fine ⸻ Final thoughts: If you have dogs that launch themselves at gates like furry battering rams, these are the reinforcements you need. They protect your walls, hold the gate in place, and keep the chaos marginally contained. That’s a win.

Adhere without Damaging the Walls
These mounting cups replaced my original mounting cups because one of the originals was missing. These mounting cups work GREAT with no need to drill into wall or to apply any adhesive. It turns out my loss was actually a gain.

The grey pads that contact the walls would not stay but a dab of silicone fix that. Otherwise great product.
