Good quality, steel really sharp blade.

Once i got it i tested it out and it works great! I was able to hammer a stick onto it and then drill into a block of wood to make a rocket stove. It is sharp and drills through the wood like butter. The included case is a nice addition.

This is a fun bushcraft tool to use with soft wood, but consider using a real power tool if need to drill a hole in hard wood. The drill feels like it is well made and sharp. Although the sheath is not made of leather it is perfectly functional. The price is fair.

I've only used it a couple of times so far but it works very well and isn't showing any signs of wear or tear . It bites into the wood much better than anticipated .

If you're GO KIT doesn't have one of these...you ain't got a go kit that can go. this tool and a good knife can build a house. Course you have to use this to make the tools that would help make that house. But if you got to go absolute native...bring one of these.

Solidly built, comes fairly sharp. Works new, I bored a hole relatively easily, although it's slower than some augers I've used. It should perform really well after some additional sharpening.Edit: After some sharpening it performs very well. Definitely recommend sharpening it using an auger file.
