I love this pyrography wood burning kit since I’m a beginner! I wasted my money on those plug in stick version ones. I bought a few different ones and none even come close to the quality of burn you can get out of these wire burners. The fact that it has 2 pens is great so you can keep a solid tip on one and a wire tip on the other. I am a beginner and was amazed by the quality of artwork I was able to produce with this. Super easy to use and unlike the stick tools, you can run this for hours and the hand grips are both heat insulated to keep it cool to the touch.I like that it has dual temp knobs so you can control both pens and have them at different temps. The dial has a digital screen and is in Celsius so just have to be aware of that. I like that it comes with 20 wire nib tips and 53 solid point tips. Come with wood chips and stencils so that your able to practice and get better. Great quality and I’m happy with it

I'm new to wood burning and started out with a low cost burner recently. This machine burns soooo much better! At first I thought this was missing the wire nibs but discovered that they're in a little round tin (they're very light and well wrapped so when you shake the tin it seems empty). The machine heats up quickly but is cool to the touch, it can keep going for hours without the pen handles or the machine getting too hot. The pens are comfortable to use and the burn quality is very nice and consistent. It also has a wide range of temperatures and it comes with an impressive array of burning tips. I'm not sure how it compares to more expensive machines but the difference between this and the burners you find at craft stores is significant and when you consider that it's only $60.00 more than really basic burners and has so many more options, to me this is hands down the winner in value and quality. I've included the first burn I made on this machine (and only the second burn I've ever done, so forgive the mistakes) so that you can see that it even makes a beginners fumbling attempts at burning, look nice.

Great purchase, no more needs said... but if you needed more, it holds temp very very well, plenty capable and comes with ample accessories... Great... warms up quick, holds temp great, and hasn't let me down an ounce... and ive used the hell outta it...

I Love this wood burning kit!!!, it’s really easy to use and there are so many different burning tips to use!!! I’ve never tried wood burning before so I bought this one because I wanted a bougie one, and I Love it!!!! This is was my first ever wood burning art piece I did with this wood burn kit….

Purchased as a gift for my husband. Quality is excellent, heat controls make pyrography effects east to control for a wide variety of tips.

Got this for my brother and he loves it. He’s a beginner. It’s really good for beginners and easy to use. Set up was easy, quality seemed decent for the money we paid. Comes with solid point pen and a wire nib pen. Plus both pens could be used at the same time. The wire nib pen works fantastic. Very easy to use and adjust. Package included some wood chips and stencils for practicing. Great quality and happy with the purchase.

This was a gift and I was so excited to set it up then disappointment set in. The power cord is very short and limits placement. After setting up both pens I turned on the heat for each pen individually. The wire nib pen had to be turned all the way up to get even a hint of a burn. The solid tip pen was the same. I turned off the machine and waited and turned power on again to try the pens. Still no significant burn until it was turned up full heat and then neither one gave a recognizeable burn. In addition the higher heat made the pens hot to use plus you had to hold it so far back that your control was limited. Amazon was great and worked with me in getting a full refund and label to return this product. Thank you Amazon.

EDIT: After posting this review, Goodcrafter reached out and offered a refund or replacement. We opted for the replacement and a new working unit showed up in a few days. Things go wrong but at least they got it taken care of. Thanks for taking care of the issue, Goodcrafter. Updated from 1 to 4 stars. Original Review: I got this for our son for Christmas 2023. He used it once in February for about 30 minutes then we put it away. We got it out a few days ago and not it doesn't power on at all. The lights don't even turn on. No way to really contact 'Goodcrafter' and it seems it only has a one month warranty? I'll open it and see if I can fix it. If not, I'll try to find someone locally to buy the next one.

I bought a uk adapter as this came with an American plug. I waited a few weeks for the pen to arrive but when I switched it on, nothing. My husband, a retired electrician, tested it and found there was no electricity coming through. Very disappointed
