I love this paint sprayer. I started a painting business, and it is excellent. I recommend it 100 percent.

We bought this little sprayer for 2 paint jobs, our shop and our house. Works very well. Only issue we had with it is when it clogged. It was hard to figure out where the clog was, the instructions are a little confusing, but once we got the hang of it, things went well. My tip is to have 2 tips so when the first one clogs, you have a second one ready to continue progress until it clogs. A friend can be cleaning the first one while you continue painting with the 2nd one.

Just as another reviewer stated, I really wanted to love this sprayer. My husband and I have rental properties and this sprayer would save us a ton of time so I saved up some Prime points and bought the Titan Control Max 1700 Pro High Efficiency Sprayer. The name really enticed me. Great marketing - PRO and EFFICIENCY. Perfect. Not. The sprayer is easy to assemble and the instructions are great. The unit would not prime so I even CALLED customer service 3 times and someone was available to answer the phone each time and walked me through troubleshooting. I prepared the paint specifically for the sprayer, by thinning it and straining it in 5 gallon bucket (with water since i was using latex) and tested it with a funnel. The priming went well and suction worked as expected. I tested the spray gun (without a tip), and it also worked well. I screwed the tip on and tested it on a cardboard strip as suggested in the instructions. Once the unit finally primed I started painting. The sprayer worked fine for about one minute before the mist went from a fan to a solid stream of paint. Like a water pistol. All over my wall. So I stopped. I twisted the spray tip 180 degrees but it didn't help. I cleaned the tip and tried again. Same. The sprayer worked for a minute and then clogged. The pressure was also spotty. I visited my local Sherwin Williams who sell Titan products. The recommended a new tip. I tried that. No dice. Same. Exact. Problem. My husband and I both took off work expecting to have this property painted today but instead we wasted 4 hours messing with this ridiculous piece of equipment. The tip was not clogged, but there was no great force behind the mist. The mist was weak and uneven. I thinned the paint even more and the result was the same. The sprayer worked for awhile, then clogged. I really need a sprayer so if there's a work around, I want to hear about it. The one wall that we were able to spray looks AMAZING. My husband corrected the areas where the streams of paint were and the places where the sprayer was actually working look GREAT.

Once I got this thing going it was so easy to stain my fence. Finding the right size tip for the product is key. Easy to clean if you do it immediately. Don’t let the spray gun nozzle sit too long and you’re fine!!

I bought this months ago, just used it today on the first project. The sprayer works perfect, just make sure you get a strainer and strain the paint, I would also recommend a 24" extension wand, the one for Graco works perfect, so you can spray ceilings without a ladder. Works just as good if not better than a Graco machine for half the price.

I do a lot of painting and because I have carpel tunnel in both hands and a torn rotator cuff, I needed a different way of getting the job done. I purchased this and was excited to receive it. It comes somewhat put together so you can bypass a lot of the instructions. The little you have to do to finish the assembly is fairly easy. When it came time to use it, again the instructions are fairly easy. When painting the paint goes on smoothly and not too much, however when it came time for me to refill the paint bucket, the sprayer stopped working. I cleaned everything and it did not start back up. Needless to say, I was not able to finish my paint project with this product. This product cost a lot of money to stop working after the initial use. I would recommend buying a lesser price product if you will get the same results of breaking down. I'm planning to return this product.

I had been using a hand sprayer to paint a very large deck, and it was taking forever and a day, so I hired someone and purchased another hand sprayer. Unfortunately, this did not speed up the process much either, so I bought this Titan Airless sprayer, and we were able to give it two coats and still finish in record qu In record time. I love it. Can't wait to paint my she-shed with this airless wonder!

13 gallons so far. Easy to set up, use and clean. Simple, lightweight, well thought out design. Everything I had hoped for in an airless. When it is running it sounds like someone pulling on a lawn mower starter rope trying to start a non working mower. Titan lost the first unit because they installed the label on the flimsy shrink wrap that was on the box.

Very nice but if you are painting heavy paint buy the higher pressure models as it has troubles with heavy paint and you have to thin and do multiple coats

I could barely get any pressure, even with just water. Followed troubleshooting guide less some recommendations for replacing certain parts because it is brand new. Primed OK, but pressure on spray is almost non exisistent with or without spray nozzle on. Cleaned every part on it. Possibly faulty. Returned

No good. It keeps running out of pressure when I try to keep on spraying
