So to turn on the light, you have to do something on the back rim. either like touch it, move your hand around on it, etc. It wasn't clear how to turn on/off the light, to the point where we kind of didn't get it for a month or two.The light projects from the bottom, which doesn't help finding the buttons on top.The buttons on top are pretty much flat, so you have to learn exactly where each one is in the dark. More than once I've accidentally hit the volume up button instead of "next sound".Makes a turn on/off sound when turning on/off. Thank you for waking up the baby by going "Doo doo". Would do better with a phased in sound effect (Starting 0db and then building up to preset volume).

This was a baby shower gift for my daughter and she uses it constantly in the nursery. It really works to drown out most of the background noise and he sleeps sounds. Love the look and it's compact somit doesn't get in the way.

Once on it's great-- the problem is that the controls are all "embedded" in the device and don't light up. You have to guess, or turn the light on to see where the control is (and hold it in the right light to be able to read the symbol-- not words-- to get the right thing controlled)

I’ve been using this now for 2 months and I love it! We tried out a dozen sound machines and this one had the best sound quality. We run it all night for our baby and it’s holding up great plus the light is a nice addition.

We use this as a white noise machine in our toddler’s bedroom, and it works great. We leave the ocean waves noise on 24/7.However, the audio is all controlled by touching the gray ring on the top of the machine. No physical buttons. The different button-spots have little icons printed on them, but nothing you can feel in the dark.So if your toddler grabs it at bedtime and by luck cranks up the volume to max, you’re going to start poking it in a panic, turn on the nightlight, change the sound, but good luck finding the volume down button. You’ll have to put down your now screaming toddler, turn on the light, fix it, and start the bedtime routine over.Nice machine for adults to use themselves. For parents, get something less sleek that has physical buttons.

It has the music with the settings that are easy to use. It has a nice light on the bottom. It's easy to turn on and off. Definitely a great price for a great product.

I love that you have the option to keep it on without using the timer. Lots of sounds to choose from and great volume control.

This machine did not work even with an adaptor to accommodate the european plug in system. Also the product was advertised as having a rain sound option which it does not.

Je suis contente de cette machine à bruits .J'utilise le bruit ventilateur et j'en suis très satisfaite, il n'est pas énervant comme ça peut être le cas avec d'autres machines.Elle est simple à utiliser, le son se règle avec des boutons et non une roulette comme sur mon ancienne.Je peux du coup facilement trouver l'intensité qui me convient .Je recommande ce produit qui a un très bon rapport qualité prix.

This sound machine is pretty good. I like the variety of sounds, the light is nice. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 star would be that the buttons on the top are kinda hidden so at night they are impossible to see. But aside from that i like it!
