1/4" very tough material, perfect for my projects
This 12" x 12" sheet came with slick surfaces front and back. (I don't care, but wanted to mention it for anyone expecting a matte or textured surface.) This is very tough material. Before I started my project (linkage guard for off-road motorcycle/high-impact application), I took it out back and put it on top of a cinder block, then used a hammer to attempt to break off a 1" corner section. It didn't flinch at all, and mind you this is only 1/4" thick. It did eventually bend a little after repeated pounding but no sign of cracking, splintering or breakage. When I tried to cut it with a hack saw, it fought me hard. I'll have to borrow my buddy's band saw to get the cuts I need without pulling a muscle.

Great product
Used it to make a dash console with cut outs for switches and gauges for my boat. Cuts cleanly, holds a wood screw, strong enough to bolt on, weather resistant. Perfect.

Met my expectations
I purchased the 1" thick sheet. It seemed to be straight and true. The sizes differed a bit from the specs but were not out of tolerance given. Overall the item was in pretty good shape; however, if one wants a highly-finished product you might have to do some refinishing yourself to get the desired results. The price I paid was better than other sources so overall I am very happy with my purchase. Just be aware that if you need exact dimensions this product probably isn't for you... or you could simply order the next size up in all dimensions and then cut it to size.

Great material and easy to work with.
Cut up the 12x12 sheet to make a board and ski mount for my snowbike. The material is extremely dense and was hard to sand on a belt sander, so that speaks to its durability. I also dropped the bike in my garage and it landed right on both wedged pieces of plastic and it didn't even scratch it. Has held up to a full day of whoops and riding with a pow surf attached and nothing happened to it at all. Very happy with this purchase.

Super for longboard gloves
For those who don't know, longboarding can involve speeds in excess of 35 MPH. Speed control and cornering is often accomplished by sliding the board wheels and one or both hands on the pavement. The gloves that are used have a palm puck to take the abrasion and dissipate heat. The best gloves have a replaceable puck. Combined with sticky back industrial strength Velcro and Weldwood contact cement, this UHMW at three-quarters of an inch thick is perfect when applied to the leather glove of your choice. I have tested it at over 40 MPH and it shows very little wear (looks more scratched than worn). It is easy to cut with a scroll saw, requiring no special blade. Sanding is no problem with an random orbital sander. The pucks are cut to a 3" diameter circle. At that rate the one foot square will provide me with replaceable pucks for years!

Exactly what I needed!
This stuff works great! I ordered a 12''x12''x1/4'' thick sheet. I used it to modify a set of J-hooks in my gym so that they won't damage my bars with metal to metal contact. This UHMW sheet worked great for that purpose. All I did was drill and tap the J-hooks, then countersink the UHMW sheet cut-outs. It's been holding up great for about a month now. There was a ton left over, so if it ever wears out it will be a quick and easy replacement. I don't see them wearing out any time soon though. They have held up great so far.

Badly Bowed
This item was not flat, was bowed a lot. It was shipped separately laying on a lot of crumbled filler packing paper. Maybe it would have arrived flatter if it had been laying flat in the box. Bought this UHMW to make zero-clearance table saw inserts. I don't think it will be satiable for this application. I heated the sheet up with a heat gun and laid a heavy box on top during cool down. Most of the bow was gone but not sure if it will stay that way over time. Still not flat enough for saw table inserts. Affixing the cut sheet to a ridged surface such as a table saw or router fence and jigs would work better providing the edges and corners stay flat. UHMW is a good product, the flatness is just too unstable for my application. I may order some Phenolic 'glass grade' sheet in this size but it will cost much more. The actual size of the sheet was 1/8" x 11 3/4" x 23 3/4".
