Fit exactly as expected. Was of better quality than what was originally installed in sink. Glad I purchased this item. The included basket seal perfectly. Catches food and other stuff for easy removal. Lives up to Moen name. Purchased from Amazon because of ease of delivery and didn’t have to wonder around the big box home improvement stores hoping to find it

Well made and easy to install

I used one on a sink drain that I had to cut off the old one because it was rusted so bad. I works like a charm and is much better than the old style. Just received another one for the same issues on a different house.

It has been installed for almost a week, and it is very good, the quality is also very good!

After living in the same house for 17 years we decide to upgrade all the appliances. While doing that I noticed the drain was was looking old and discolored. This was on sale for under $10 so I got it. Replacing was pretty easy. Followed the online video posted here. All I had to buy was some plumbers putty. Looks nice and shiny compared to what it replaced. we will see how long it stays that way but I have a feeling it will be good for a while.

The only way to go. Forget those cheap plastic or thin stamped metal ones you see in the local hardware and big box stores,. They have a big wide threaded section up at the top just under the sink where a large lock nut holds them in place. You have a large turning nut rubbing against a cardboard washer, which is not good for getting a strong even force against the rubber-to-sink joint. Plus, you need a special wrench or a big pair of channel-locks to secure it. THIS ONE has a metal nut at the BOTTOM, threaded onto the pipe section of the drain itself, so it just pushes the whole thing up flat against the bottom of the sink. If you've had troubles with these strainer/drain assemblies leaking, or working loose over time, try this one. The design is so much better.

Good quality

The strainer has the Moen name but it's still not real high quality. Made in China. But what isn't nowadays? It is good quality for the money and will install easily enough. The reason i did not give it 5 stars is because it resembles polished chrome, not the stainless steel finish on the Moen faucet products. This item is frequently returned, just like we did. But I'm guessing it is because the finish is not what's expected. If you don't mind a more chrome look in the sink strainer, then I do recommend this strainer.

This worked exactly as advertised. It was easy to install, and the stainless steel should prevent it rushing out like the previous one did.

Good basic drain. Description should say it's for bar sink. Deeper drain model is for kitchen sink. I still installed on kitchen sink and had no complaint from tenant. Moen has been great with warranty claims on their other products.
