Top shelf equipment for your lathe.
These lathe chucks are first class, well made and should last as longer than your lathe. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a set or perhaps a second set for their lathe. I spoke with the company that made them and they were exceedingly helpful and informative.

Fits Jet 1221VS with Correct Insert Adaptor

Great product!
Very nice product packaged in a very effective, attractive manner. The company inadvertently sent me a chuck with the wrong thread size and the adapter I ordered for the original thread size. When I called them, they admitted their mistake and immediately sent me an adapter of the correct size.

is it worth paying almost more or less the same price as the lathe for this chuck? after buying this Nova, yes, it is really worth and no second thought. I am happy and confident in recommending it. Even got help with the required insert selection and really happy with the service they provide. Thanks, Nova team! and keep it up!!

I have not used it yet, be aware of the additional adapter needed to use this.
I bought this for my Shopsmith, the issue I had was it had a link to an adapter I would need for the Chuck. It was wrong. The adapter needed is 1-3/8” - 8TPI. The Chuck on the backside is 1-3/8” female thread which is not clearly stated.

I am happy that I chose Nova over other similar function chucks on Amazon. The Nova clamping mechanism works smoothly and wood mounted in the chuck does not wobble. The fit and finish of all parts is really nice. Securely clamps square and round stock in a variety of ways. I chose this particular Nova kit because if offered the widest variety of jaw sets. Other jaws can be purchased later if required.
