A great model but I feel the price is a little steep.
The model was very realistic and fun to build. I used this model just for display with others of the same thyme.

Lego Storm Trooper
My seven year old grandson loved this Lego build! Unfortunately the mailing packaging was totally inadequate. I was lucky the toy was not damaged as the box itself was also damaged

Surprisingly good!
The LEGO Stormtrooper Commander is a surprisingly good figure! I haven't had the nicest criticisms towards the buildable figures, but this one is quite good. The system these buildable figures use consists of bones that build up a frame, with shells to cover up said frame. The human characters using this system look rather odd, but the Stormtrooper Commander looks great. This is because the shells represent armor, more so than flesh or cloth. Unfortunately, like with most standard figures from this line, the entire frame is exposed. The bones are obvious, there is an unsightly gap between the torso and legs, and the set has many hollow spots, ie, the thigh armor, and torso from back view. The play features are good, though. There is a "2 in 1" feature, meaning you can change the commander into a normal Stormtrooper. You do this by removing the orange pad, and rebuilding the blaster. This feature is kind of time-consuming, which will frustrate some. Both blaster builds have the same play feature, and they work fine. However, the red and grey parts look very jarring. Holding the Commander's gun, in both hands, limits posability, but can hide the gap between the legs and torso, from front view. There are more posing options with the regular trooper gun. The price is the biggest issue. Retailing at $25.00, you can most likely find a better-looking figure. This set would appeal more to a LEGO fan, especially one who uses these parts for their own creations. However, I was able to snag this figure for $13.00. At that price, I'd definitely recommend the Stormtrooper Commander. It's a great figure, when it's not the price of a collector-grade figure.

Better than expected and better late than never
I recently began collecting Lego a few months ago. This Stormtrooper set was released years and so I paid a premium for it. Despite that price appreciation, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Very easy to build and it looks great.

Great looking figure, the build-able figures are only good if they are helmeted as they look the best.

Great assembly to put !!

Lots of fun. You'll want bright light and glasses if you need them to put this slightly tricky Trooper together. A number of armour pieces are very similar and are easiest to distinguish by the very faint numbers molded into them. Follow directions correctly and it will probably go together smoothly. I have two of these.
