Exactly as described and met my expectations.
I used them with strain guages to construct a unique anemometer. I have enough left over to make another one using a 9 axis gyro. (pendulum-ish anemometer, LOL) DIY crazy sub-scientist fun.

Not good for my use
I thought I had the perfect idea. I bought these to replace the hinge pins in my RC. Research said that cardon was stronger than steel. I think I need more research.
