USB-C to USB Micro

It requires an external power supply for older HDMI ports. It has a micro usb port for optional power supply. I did not need a power supply for my laptop. My laptop has a USB-C port that I use with an adapter cable to HDMI for the transmitter. My monitor has HDMI, and it is a tight fit but I was able to plug it into port #2. I added a small HMDI extension cable to the RX at the TV to help with the fit. A menu is displayed on the TV and you select the mode. Then you power up the TX and it automatically connects. There is no software to install and it works great!!! I did notice some heat at the transmitter on the cable at the connector. It ran a little warm but did not cause any issues. I replaced the cable and it eliminated the heat. I believe it pulls a half an amp, so quality cables are recommended. I did not have any heat issues on the actual device, and as mentioned it was the connector on my cable that was getting hot, and after replacing the cable the heat went away.

Looking strong and good quality. Only one thing, it's hard to put into the devices, hopefully after same time it will lose a bit. But working well. And it's more flexible with the cord. Very fast shopping 🛍. Thank you.

When it comes to electronics/wiring, I try to stick to reputable brands (on Amazon, typically UGREEN, Anker, CableCreation, Cable Matters, etc). Unfortunately, none of those brands have a USB-C to micro-USB adapter that I could find in all my research. I ended up going with these a few years ago based on reviews. I've since bought several pairs of these and have been using the oldest ones I have pretty regularly since with no problems. The connection is solid and firm, and it doesn't get too hot or anything. If you're charging something, speeds are as expected (don't expect USB-C speeds — micro-USB connectors aren't capable of that). If I need any more adapters, I'm definitely going to be buying these again.

Tried with Google Pixel And Pixel 2 OEM cables and chargers. Tried with Anker cables and chargers. Did not work. **UPDATE** 01/09/18 ARKTEK Customer Service communicated and replaced with functioning adapters. The replacements work across all my devices. Great customer service and communication. Used to charge older fire 10 with usb-c cord. Worked but gave low power warnings and broke off inside the charging port within 20 minutes of being plugged in. Probably fine for adults and those who are gentler with accessories but not for kids.

I was looking for an adapter to covert my Logitech G502 Lightspeed from Micro USB(come on Logitech, you can do better) to a USB-C adapter so I didn't have to worry about the pins fraying and corroding on the Micro USB port, as they are prone to do(had to already replace my micro usb port in my phone twice, so I know how bad they are). This adapter fits perfectly into the Logitech's G502 Lightspeed port slot and has no wiggle room preventing it from moving around and possibly doing dmg to the Micro-USB port. Fits perfect and works perfect for what I was needing.

Charges my micro-USB earpiece using a USB-C charger. Works well. Good price.
