Thoughtfulness and Simplicity
This is one well thought out bag. This is the type of backpack that a filmmaker or photographer designed. It's simple. It's light. It's small enough to hike, walk, and travel with via airplane or over the road. But what what makes this bag shine so much is the detail in expected features and bonuses that have to be regular features in all bags going forward.Starting out with the space for your devices, I can fit my DJI Mini 2, 3 batteries, 8 piece filter kit and case, remote, and battery charger as well as the latest iPad 12.9 inch, a 16 inch Macbook Pro from 2019, and one trade paperback of my favorite comic. But here's the kicker. It has pick and pluck foam! It's like someone thought about the benefits of hard cases when it comes to customization and protection and said, "we need this in a backpack" and it's executed wonderfully. In the main compartment for your Mini (and the pick and pluck foam allows this to be used with probably most small drones), there are three layers of foam to customize to your packing desires. The side pockets are secure and deep. This is a must because if you are walking, running, hiking, biking, etc., you are bouncing up and down and the probability of something falling out of your side pockets is increased. But with this bag the pockets are built deep and snug giving your small items like keys are much harder time to free themselves. Speaking of keys, on one of the pockets, theres a genius clip with a retractible line! This had me so excited! I'm always trying to find the safest and securest place for my keys when I'm out filmmaking or flying my drone and now I can clip, stuff, and focus on the shots I'm getting or hiking to a great takeoff destination. As mentioned, the compartment for laptops and tablets is really spacious but not overly spacious to turn this compact bag into a bulky one. It's enough space for the essentials and that's how it should be. The back is nicely designed with fatigue fighting padding. And in that back portion, off to the side, is a little zipper that opens up another secure spot to stash a cellphone. I tried it out with my iPhone 12 Pro Max with a pretty bulky case on it and it fit with no negotiating. Unzip and slip.At the top of the bag is a magnetic flap that reveals another area to store items. Of all the areas, this one isn't going to fight off the elements as well as the others, so it's best not to put anything here that you don't want to get damaged by rain. However, it's quite the giant flap so it could fight off the rain, but it's the only area that isn't secured with a zipper and weather resistant zipper covers. But there's a little sneaky addition that could actually make this whole back pack resistant to the elements...At the bottom of the bag is a little area sealed with velcro that keeps a jacket for this backpack safe. You can use this to pull over this bag to protect it, only leaving the straps exposed. That's very helpful. A little addition like this goes a long way. This backpack is designed with those that need it in mind. If you're in the market for a great option that's inexpensive but not cheap in quality. Look no further. Your wallet will thank you, your mind at ease, and your creativity has room to blossom.

Great backpack for drones
Great caring the drone. I like how it has the pockets for water bottle and phones. Carrying laptop or tablet and camel pack.Wish you can buy more foams for the caring department, and wish it can hold a tripod.

Pretty slick bag. Guess I need to buy a DJI Mini now...
Full transparency—I do not yet own a drone. This was purchased as a lighter-weight camera bag. You know, a body, a few lenses, handful of spare batteries… just the essentials. I chose this over the more straightforward photography backpack options because the pick-n-pull foam was something I hadn't seen in this form factor. I just had to try it.So what do I think? It definitely has build quality befitting of the price. The design is well thought out, clean, and straightforward. Padding is more than acceptable for your expensive gear. While I haven’t tested the waterproof claims, and hope I won’t have to, knowing it’s there is huge—none of my other camera bags claim water resistance. All that said, it’s probably best used for its intended purpose. I have pulled out some of the foam to fit the body and accessories, but haven’t yet done so for the lenses. For the life of me I cannot decide which lenses deserve semi-permanent residence here, as I’ve now realized that I’m fickle and tend to choose my glass based on how I’m feeling that day. I know I know. But isn’t that half the fun of this hobby? So while the size is perfect, I usually end up with one of my bigger, lower quality backpacks just because it’s easier to bring a wider variety of lenses. But who knows, I’ve got a trip coming up and this would be a killer travel bag.If anything changes, you’ll be the first to know.

OUTSTANDING
Thoroughly impressed with this pack. As photos illustrate - DJI Mavic Air with remote, all charging accessories, and FOUR batteries fit neatly and securely inside main compartment. NOTE - 3 layers of foam are provided. I was able to keep bottom layer of foam intact except for the 4 battery slots which I put in vertically. Drone, remote and power accessories all fit and protected by middle layer only. Top layer of foam completely intact, for additional protection. Foam cut-outs easy to remove, just be patient and take your time. Tip, better to undersize your slots and experiment on fit vs. making the holes too big. The foam obviously has play, better to be a little snugger vs. too loose. Take your time.Pack also has laptop sleeve, AND hydro compatible. Zip pocket on inside of top flap and reasonably spacious top compartment for snacks or whatever. 2 water bottle pockets, 1 on either side. Sturdy and comfortable straps and back pad. Semi-hard shell on outside back, for yet more protection in case of a mishap.I have no doubt I could fit my GoPro Hero 9 Black and mounts in this as well, offering a fully mobile mountain-biking video content capture day from ground or air a full reality. At $100, an amazing value. This is not a piece of junk!
