This is by far the best hair dye I have used for covering my grays. The L'Oreal Men Expert One Twist in Real Black 02 lives up to its "mess-free" promise perfectly. The application process is incredibly straightforward: you literally just twist the bottle, shake it, and comb it directly into your hair. There are no messy mixing bowls and no strong chemical smells, thanks to the excellent ammonia-free formula. It took exactly five minutes to process, and the result was a natural-looking black that blended seamlessly, rather than an artificial, flat shoe-polish color. It rinsed out easily without staining my forehead, neck, or bathroom sink. Pros: Extremely quick, foolproof application, no harsh ammonia odor, and very natural-looking results. The built-in comb applicator is a complete game changer for getting an even coat. Cons: The volume of dye is perfectly sized for short to medium hair. If you have longer hair, you will likely need to purchase two kits. Overall, my experience was fantastic. It restored my natural color without looking obviously dyed. I highly recommend it to any guy looking for a fast, subtle, and clean way to handle grays.

A nice, easy to use product. I touch up my gray hair with this black color. I use it, close the applicator, rinse it off and when I need a touch up, I use it again.

I been a loyal customer of Just For Men for many years. This product hardly makes any mess. The dye is just for the hair and my skin doesn’t turn colors like the dye with Just For Men. When I wash it out hardly any dye is anywhere. It bonds to the hair great. Some flaws though. It’s hard to open. I had to use a long nose pliers to break tab The ball inside blocks the flow at times The hair becomes rough but o let conditioner stay in hair for 6 minutes to make my hair soft again But overall the product is good.

This product is total crap! It can only be used one time. I followed the instructions as precisely as possible, and it does produce great results the first time. However, I then closed back the container properly, and stored it away as instructed. Even still by the time I needed to use it again, the product was completely ineffective. Whatever amount of air that gets locked in the tube (which is completely unavoidable because of how it’s designed) completely cancels out its chemistry so it no longer works as intended. It’s a complete waste of money. I don’t recommend it.

L’Oreal is a very good product, been using the medium brown for about 3 years, I just like the feel of my hair after the treatment, silky and soft and easy to comb. I’ll keep buying it!

This product was easy to use. Twist, shake, snap, and squeeze. The first three are easy. However, the squeeze part is not so much. The product container, while squeezable on the side, becomes cumbersome to squeeze as you get into the application. The bottom part of the bottle is rigid enough that it prevents squeezing out the rest of the content out. I would have preferred it if they made the bottle a little skinny but longer and perhaps tapered at the end, just like the end of a toothpaste tube. That would make application a lot easier. One tip for guys with buzzed cuts, please apply the product comb along with the natural direction of your hair. If you're going against it, you'll notice a lot of splattering around you. Also, if you have vinyl or latex gloves that fit you, use those instead of the cellophane gloves that come with the product. They are oversize most of the time and will make your application messy. Last tip is to apply a coat of Vaseline along your hairline so that the dye won't permeate your skin. As for how effective the dye is, it's pretty good. I'd say that my hair color developed so quickly.
