No bait included
This is just a box with the trap inside. I didn’t use it yet as I had to place another order for the bait.

J'en ai posé sur une tapette à souris. Moins d'une heure après la pauvre petite bête a été attrapée alors que cela ne fonctionnait pas au bout de 24h00 avec du pâté de foie. Ou était-ce une souris végan?

I was quite sceptical of this Rat attractant at first but have to say it's Brilliant trapped first rat after putting it on trap on the second day!

This is a good product and it has successfully caught the rat that was going under my decking. I have been very stressed by it all as I have a dog and diseases from the rat are not good to put it lightly to him, let alone to humans. This is an easy trap to fill with peanut butter (that is what attracted my rat) or any other bait that is recommended, but don't overfill as you have to be sure that the rat doesn't just get part way in and reaches the bait too easily. The rat has to put its head in properly to reach the bait. This is a strong spring and it does snap the trap shut quite ferociously. Also very importantly, TIE the damn thing down, or as someone else suggested, put inside a bait box as it is quite a light trap and as with my rat, he must have reversed in order to try and free himself, and therefore in the location mine was in he managed drag the trap and slip down a a gap next to the built in water feature tub. I also thought that ( perhaps too innocently), that it killed the rat outright, but alas no, and it was rather upsetting to hear the rattling of the trap as I guess he was in death throws trying to free himself. I hate killing anything and would have preferred to have got a humane trap, but I could not have got to the next stage of releasing it without having to drive out to the countryside, and I do not have a car. It is though, a clean kill,in as much as there was no mess or blood, and as far as I can make out,it probably breaks the neck I guess and traps it. If you have rodent problem, I am confident that this will do the job for you. It got mine and I am still leaving the others out for a while in case there is another rat lurking. Things to remember: place the trap where other wild life will not be tempted to try and get the bait, like hedgehogs, cats, squirrels, and even ground feeding birds, that would be a tragedy. I have ordered two more as I have a big garden,so I am ok with the effectiveness of them, For those reviewers who put things like ''it never caught anything'' patience is the key, it can take a week or more depending on the circumstances,, or if you never catch anything, maybe you don't have a problem with rodents so much as you thought. I took all the bird feeders down and removed all bird feeding equipment as recommended by the RSPB after I saw this rat, as they are attracted to the fallen bird seed, and nuts and anything else that may drop to the floor that you feed the birds on. I watched my rat eating the seed dropped by the birds directly underneath the hanging bird feeder, so this had to go, and that was a big disappointment. Anyway, hope this is helpful and they are not too expensive and at least worth a try I think you will find they are good even though they don't look meaty enough to do the job, I found them quite capable in the end.

Good size to catch large rats and quite robust. Purchased to replace the same model which had become worn.

This is the most effective mouse trap compared to all the others. Pros 1. The Lid Is A Cloudy White Color. You can see if something is caught, WITHOUT having to look DIRECTLY at it . Perfect for people who are squeamish. Black and Clear lids force you to look inside the box. 2. Clean to Dispose. The Lid is locked, it is sturdy and not flimsy. Disposing is quick clean and easy. You can just throw away the box in a trash bag. If you want to re-use the box again; it has a key to unlock if you want to throw away the trap and catch without touching the inside of the box. 3. It is a quick kill. The rodent would not make noise during the night and wake people up, and it would not suffer locked inside. 4. The trap is loud. It is easy to know when you caught something. The independent trap inside, makes a huge clap sound, when activated. Cons 1. It is a single catch box. It catches one mouse at a time. It is not a multi-catch box, but you can place many boxes around each affected area. 2. Suitable for small to medium sized rodents. The size of the box is not for large rodents. This can be useful or not depending on your situation.
