Protein Powder, Ideal Vanilla, 20g Protein, 1 Pound

Honestly, this is my all time favorite protein powder. I’ve done whey for years, and still use it from time to time, but this stuff is amazing. Love their shakes, so I thought I’d give the powder a try. Incredible. I love mixing it into a bunch of different stuff such as coffee, oat milk, yogurt and oatmeal before or after a workout. A recipe I recommend: Oats, 1 tbsp cocoa power and a scoop or two of the vanilla flavor. Yum! Overall: Mixes well. Tastes great. Keeps me full, and energized. Would recommend.

I mix this with my mushroom coffee, it stops that bitter flavor and makes the coffeee creamy without a sweetener. I love it!

Vanilla is smooth, creamy, and easily blendable in smoothies or yogurt/oatmeal. Has a more natural flavor than some other brands that are sickeningly sweet. Ingredients are what I thought I wanted. Unfortunately, this one caused me some digestive issues and bloating after eating consistently or a few weeks. I'm sensitive to whey so always looking for high quality plant based options. Orgain and Vivo are still easier on my system and contain more fiber, so unfortunately this one's just not for me.

Really like the taste on this one. Many plant protein powders I've tried are chalky and only barely edible if I mix them with chocolate cashew milk or almond milk. This one is actually sweet on its own. The bad news: It's sweet because it has actual sugar in it instead of that stevia crap. So if you are looking for something super low in sugar/carbs, this isn't it. However, it's very high in fiber and protein so it's still fairly low glycemic. It also blends smoothly and the texture isn't chalky at all. I also waste less, because the chalkier powders tend to clump at the bottom of the blender, where this one blends evenly into the plant milk so there's almost no sediment at the bottom when I'm done.

Tasty more so than some other protein powders I've tried.

After reading other reviews I don't understand how people can say this tastes good. It is completely not comparable to normal Vanilla Muscle Milk, or a Vanilla Milkshake, or anything Vanilla in any way for that matter. It has a very fine consistency, so it doesn't totally mix into water perfectly well, it also creates a fine dusty mist when scooped/dumped. I mix it in with my shaker and, to be frank, it tastes like cardboard with a tiny bit of sugar. I would assume its doing its job of providing protein. In fact I will probably continue to buy it as its a good value for the money as a protein supplement. And the flavor isn't repulsive, its just bad. At least it doesn't leave you a bad aftertaste, it goes down pretty easy. I've recently developed a dairy allergy so I was forced to dump my beloved Vanilla Muscle Milk for this. Having to drink this after a workout is definitely a downer compared to Muscle Milk, however I will say you do get used to it over time so it does become less bad and more tolerable.
