LOve it. So much easier than using a knife. It works really well and is definitely worth the money.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who loves corn on the cob but can't bit it off the cob. She was so surprised and happy with this. She said it was easy to use, easy to clean and cut the kernels right off the cob. She is quite surprised and happy with it.

The curved blade swivels and it need not. Its difficult to get under the kernels because once you insert it for the first few, the blade lifts up and only cuts the tops off the kernels. So it's either take a 2nd pass every time, and make creamed corn, or leave the hald-kernals behind. Varying pressure doesn't change the outcome. Also rinse it as soon as you're done because the corn hardens on it and there are tiny sections under the blade that are impossible to clean, even with a toothpick. It's a good idea but the design needs a little more work.

Unfortunately, this review will be rather short. I bought this to use on fresh corn this summer. On the second swipe of corn the whole thing busted. Would not recommend.

It works, but it's easier and more efficient to just use a knife. You can't slice straight down to the counter so you have to flip it, and hot corn is hard to hold. Kind of a waste of money. but I will say it is well made.
