It took me a while to find this stand, but I am very happy that I did. My home recording studio is small and full of outboard recording hardware. Therefore, space is limited. Having these two big drum machines laying flat was taking up a lot of valuable real estate. I wasn’t looking for a regular keyboard stand that sits on the floor, I needed a more compact, two-tier stand that would fit on top of my effects cabinet. This item perfectly matched the idea I had in my head for a table top stand. Needless to say, I was thrilled to find it and made the purchase immediately. Build quality is very good. It is sturdy and meets my personal standards. As you can see in the picture I attached, I am the curator of some very old and fragile music equipment, so I wouldn’t chance the possibility of a cheap stand collapsing and causing damage. Due to the way this stand assembles, it requires that four screws (2 on each side) be be used in order to prevent the top tier from falling forward. Because of this, the stand didn’t give me quite enough room to comfortably use the drum machine on the bottom tier. To solve this problem, I just ran to a local hardware store and bought a couple more of the same size screws that arrived with the stand. This allowed me to lower the middle platform while still keeping the top tier at maximum height. Very happy with things so far! If you’re a musician, you won’t regret buying this in order to save some room. Even though I used it for my drum machines, this would easily work to hold up many types of hardware and will save some space.

Perfetc for my Laptop!

If you read nothing else, just read these two points below: 1. If you're using this and you plan to have equipment under the legs such as a drum machine or keyboard, this will not work for you (unless the the machine has a good amount of space under it). 2. If you're not putting anything over the legs of the stand, then this is what you want. This is VERY sturdy. The title says it all. This is one of those pieces of equipment that's either gonna work for you, or it's not. I make music, and i have a pretty structured set up with fairly limited space. I have an MPK61 keyboard, APC40, and a Maschine controller. Since I have limited space, I have the laptop, and Maschine on two separate laptop stands (the Odyssey stands) and it works perfect, the legs of the laptop stands, go right underneath the MPK and all is well. YOU CANNOT DO THAT WITH THIS STAND! lucky for me, i have just enough space on my desk to not have to put the legs of the PYLE beneath anything. I tried to but because the legs have extra metal (used for stability which I'll talk about it in a sec) you can't really put anything on top of them (unless there is significant space for it). This works for me, because I was able to place it somewhere where no equipment needed to be over the legs. The sturdiness of this thing is remarkable. Like I mentioned above, I have the Odyssey laptop stand, and when my palms rest on my laptop, I can feel the stand giving to my weight almost like it could bend or something. I don't get that with this stand. It's really sturdy and doesn't give when my palms are resting on my laptop while i'm using it. I would recommend this product if you don't plan on putting anything over the legs. If you do plan on putting something over the legs, make sure you have space underneath your equipment (or some kind of riser).

First let me say that I bought this stand for use on top of a desk - I don't DJ and won't be taking it on the road. With that said, I consider myself very handy and it still took me about 10 minutes to set the stand up. If you plan on taking this with you to events, keep that extra set-up time in mind. There is very little strength in the way this stand is designed, so while it holds my laptop securely I would not want to move it around a lot when it is assembled as you risk torquing or bending the long thin cross braces. So if you don't mind extra time to set up and disassemble the stand before and after shows then this stand will work well for you. Also, don't count on the "shelf" to hold much more than a few CDs, maybe a set of headphones. I dropped my smartphone on it from about an inch above and it tilted down. The way the shelf anchors to the legs simply provides no support except the friction of the leg pressing against the side of the shelf. As an inexpensive laptop stand to sit permanently on a desk I would have given this product a 4-5 star rating, but as a DJ stand for anything other than a studio I have to give it 3 stars.

I haven't unpacked and assembled, but I know it's going to be better than the self made stand I originally made. Try looking at unprofessional butterfly nuts, screws and L brackets on your DJ's set up and YOU paid him...lol! The above comment was posted May 8th. Today is July 16th. It was just a review of what I wrote back then. I've had to send these back. Not saying it wasn't great, but it just wasn't great for me. And oh yeah...I went back to my self made stand...works just fine. Now here's my update. First off when put together, it didn't seem sturdy enough. I was over screwing the screws just to keep it tight and when I did put my Laptop on it, it loosened and wobbled. Secondly I am an active DJ so, using this stand was not an option for me: One- It just was not tall enough for me. I thought it will stand high, but it was all Lepoleon. Two- It did not give me any space to spin or use any of my FX buttons so, with that being said. I had to get a refund, however, my son had bought one (who I got the idea from) and he loves it because he has it on his desk with the Laptop on top. With him in sitting position, it allows him space from his big Laptop. Much like I said, it just did not work for me, but I still think it's a great item...Just take away the advertisement about "Laptop Computer Stand for DJ."

Très déçu du produit aucune notice de montage en j'ai mis 2 h à le monter et me rendre compte que le produit supporte un pc certes mais l'étage inférieur ne sert strictement à rien puisque les rajout de barre de fixation ne tienne pas et du coup achat inutile moi je voulais l'utiliser avec ma platine dj pour l'étage inférieur et le pc pour l'étage supérieur mais ce n'est pas possible !!!

Brilliant quality, brilliant customer service. Kept me up to date with my order and delivery which actually came sooner than stated which was a bonus. I was a bit worried about the sturdiness of it but it's strong as nails. It's easy to assemble you don't even need instructions. I definitely recommend this to anyone.

Ottimo il materiale e la funzionalità. Ok non sarà un oggetto di design, ma lo preferisco ad altri che lo sono. Lascia il lato inferiore notebook completamente esposto e quindi risce a dissipare molto bene. Il piccolo ripiano inferiore può risultare molto comodo.
