I think this cap will really boost my hair care routine! It gets warm enough to wear while doing other things and it’s easy to use. I just wish it wasn’t so snug. Otherwise it’s perfect!

I have natural, afro textured hair that is about 2 inches past my shoulders when straightened. I need to deep condition regularly to gain/maintain length, so this came in handy because I don't always want to sit under the dryer. The first time I used the cap I was disappointed because it was waaaaaaay too small. If I had a small afro or hair that was no longer than a few inches then it would have been no big deal. But if you have thick, longer natural hair, you will find this cap to be a bit snug. I was able to make it work. I put my hair into 4 giant twists and pinned each twist to my head. Then I added a shower cap to pin my hair down in place. I then add the warmed, conditioning cap on top of the shower cap. Thank goodness I don't have a very big head because it may have been an issue. It actually worked out pretty nicely because the shower cap also helps my hair hold the heat generated by the warmed-up cap. Overall, it does the job and stays warm for quite some time. And even though the cap may cool off after 20-30 minutes, your hair stays warm underneath. I didn't find the need the reheat at all. I typically just leave it on for 45 minutes and go about my business around the house. Again, the shower cap hack also helps retain heat. I typically warm mine up for longer than suggested, but I do 30 second intervals to keep from overheating. It also seems to heat unevenly, even though my microwave has a turntable, but that wasn't a big deal. My biggest complaint and the reason for docking a star was the size. Nevertheless, this has become a staple for my wash day routine. I would recommend it.

Used this for the first time last night, and it worked like a charm. I heated it for 90 seconds, rotating every 30 seconds as directed, and it heated up evenly and held the heat in. I put a disposable plastic shower cap on first over my deep conditioner, then I put his on over that. I left it on for 20 minutes, and it held the heat for the full time I wore it. My only caveat is that it runs small. I am a small person with a small head, and it was tight on me. I don't know if they come in sizes or not. It was really easy to use, I didn't have to mess with one of those bonnet dryers, which look like a lot of trouble. I am happy with my choice of product.

It's ugly, but we don't have to wear it for long, just enough to provide a little heat for our treatments. It's okay. It gets the job done, and I don't feel the need to buy another one until this one stops working. I haven't used it often, this is about the third time. I heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds, flip it over, heat it for another 30 seconds. Put it on, wasn't too hot or too cool. Then when it started to cool off at around 10 minutes I put it back in the microwave again for another 30 seconds to warm it back up again. I did a 15 minute treatment and that's how I got it done. Works fine, my hair is nice and soft right now. All in all pretty good. I don't regret buying it though I am sure there are better out there.

Very good product! Had no smell or defects upon arrival, love being able to deep condition without having to just sit under the dryer in one spot. I just put on a shower cap then this cap for easy clean up. It gets hot enough to last about an hour & a half. My hair is left hydrated & has a nice natural shine. Affordable overall 10/10

I was worried this cap would lose heat quickly and need to be reheated several times but it holds heat very well. Stays warm the whole 30 minutes I need it for treatment. The only caution is it can feel uncomfortable on the top of your head at first as it is a little heavy and slumps down onto your head. I recommend pilling your hair at the top of your head to act as barrier between your scalp and the cap.

You simply microwave it for 1-2 mins then it's good to go. It's easy to use, it's wireless so that you can move around with it, and it makes your hair healthier and better. Happy with it overall.
