Does have great hold but patches don't seem to stay flat. Would work for very small repairs. Mine was not large but did not work as needed.

So number 1, be careful if it's windy bc the bottle isn't very strong and can tip! This glue is extremely strong and not just for any pool liner! If the float/liner isn't thick or strong enough the glue will melt right through it. But if used correctly, it's awesome!

I purchased after I asked the question about textured vinyl. The kit came in and I peeled off the old patches that were leaking, cleaned the site and applied the new patch. The glue was a bit messy, and the patch kept rolling up on me, but with a little more glue added, the patch stuck.I added a 5 pound weight on top of it and let it sit for about 15 hours. Aired back up the hot tub, and no more air leaks!

This stuff doesn't stick worth a damn to my kids inflatable pool. Maybe there are different kinds of vinyl and it works on some not on others. For me, USELESS! The glue is like rubber cement; brush it on to the pool before adding the patch and it rubs right off in balls with your finger. Also, the sheets of vinyl and the little precut patches curl up and won't lay flat. Specific instructions for installation are vague but they do say works best with the item DEFLATED, but hell I'm not gonna empty the water out of a large kiddie pool every time I need to patch a hole!
