Rubber Torque Arrestor

Great product works as advertised!

I used this item in rebuilding my well, it fit well and is good quality material at a lower price than the local stores. Easy to install, used for the extra piece of mind protection.

The product seemed good - well made and installed easily. There were no directions, however, and I couldn't find much on the internet. I'm sure an experienced well pump installer would have no problem with it, but as a DIY project a bit of instruction would have been nice. How far above the pump do I install it? Do I clamp the electrical wires inside the pipe clamps or outside? How much do I spread the arrestor out (enough to protect the pump but not so much to get stuck when I need to pull it up years down the road)? A one-page sheet of instructions would have made this awesome for me. I guessed on how to do it and dropped the pump in the well. Hopefully I won't know whether I did it right or not for another 10+ years when I pull the pump out - but if I have occasion to pull it I'll try to come back and update my review.

Worked great

I guess it's working pretty good, it's 250 ft down! Felt really durable.

We've never has a well before and so when this came up to get it made sense to but it slipped off the pump then expanded and caught tight to the sides of the well, it took a heavy duty wench and a truck to get it out which it did in pieces but at least we can use the pump and well
