For my son's 1st birthday party, I wanted to incorporate an Origami activity to celebrate our shared Japanese heritage. We chose to make Kabuto (samurai helmets) that could be worn, and I needed the largest origami available on the market. While these origami sheets are indeed quite big, I found that the size of the Kabuto was not sufficient for adults to wear comfortably. However, they were a perfect fit for the little ones! One aspect I truly appreciated was the wide variety of vibrant colors available in this origami set. It allowed us to create a visually stunning display of Kabuto helmets, adding a festive touch to the party decor. Moreover, the quality of the origami sheets was impressive. They were sturdy and held their shape well, making the folding process smooth and enjoyable. The children at the party were thrilled with their colorful Kabuto helmets and enjoyed the origami activity tremendously. If you're looking for a versatile set of origami sheets to engage in creative activities or celebrations, this product is a great choice.

Great quality thin paper for folding the more complicated models of origami. It holds creases well and doesn't break too easily. The size is great for more complex models and for adding small details. Big paper like this is pretty rare to find nowadays and this one is easily accessible. One side is colored and one side is white. So far, I used it to fold a Dragon (by Henry Pham) and Leviathan & Darth Vader (by Tadashi Mori).

These are definitely jumbo almost the size of my laptop. Great for beginners or hands that need something bigger because it’s harder to make tiny folds. Thank you so much!!

I was thinking smaller but turned out to be a pretty big size Origami and useful. It is a real origami smooth thin paper! I was able to create a jumbo size of items, of course! I wanted to use this for teaching materials and so far so good. It will work for especially a beginner to capture what and where to fold instead of using smaller paper to struggle with smaller areas and all. Also, it is easier for others to see the origami progress when I do some demonstration! I will buy again. I wished more variety of colors and pretty one too such as unicorn colors, gradation, Washi paper, shiny one, etc.

My kiddo is a huge origami folder. These were perfect. Just the right thickness and good quality

My son used this paper to make a large version of an origami modular cube and it worked out beautifully. He loves the paper. This took 6 pieces of paper. He's looking forward to making other large origami pieces.

It’s thin enough to fold and make fun origami. I used it to make an origami shadow shelf. Feels like wrapping paper. Not as thick as the 15 x 15 paper I use.

I needed the largest square kami paper to fold an Origami paper airplane as suggested by Foldable Flight’s YouTube channel. I was unsuccessful at achieving my goals with the project, but still did not regret my expensive paper purchase because there are other things I could use them for. I would, however, like Taro (or Tuttle) to find a way to make their product more affordable without losing too much in quality and packaging.

Got it for my husband! He just loves it and can't stop making new figures of origami!

難解な折り紙作品を作る時に、この大きさは必須。金や銀があればなお良し。

大きさもあり作りたいものが作れました。

折り紙好きな息子のために購入。 なかなかこのサイズは売っていないので助かります。
