Sportway S30 Dash Cam Suction Mount: $10.99 at the time of review I finally watched enough crazy footage online to scare myself into ordering a dash cam for my car. But the mount it came with was pretty much garbage. So I looked to this sportway mount to get the camera up and out of my way. *What I liked*: It does work very well. Thanks to the clamp style suction mount it’s easy out on and take off. Thanks to the 360° swivel it makes it really easy to get a perfect viewing angle. The price is good, especially when compared to other mounts. *What I didn't like*: At least once per summer, the suction fails due to the heat. This is annoying, but it happens with another suction mount I have in my car so I suspect it’s just a byproduct of this type of mount. *The Bottom Line:* I’m glad I bought this mount. Thanks to how well it can articulate, I was able to mount the camera in the least obtrusive place on my windshield (to the right of my rearview mirror). Five stars out of five for a good mount at a good price. I would order this over again.

Bought this and the S504 the same day... this one showed up after my trip and is still in my car a week later. Great mount, great price, and a great replacement for my failing silicone mount. Love the flip lock & ball head adjustment! Very easy to get pointed exactly where I want and how far from the glass I want to mount it. Going to buy another to toss in my camera bag due to how solid it mounts and the extra adapters for mounting other stuff! Happy to get away from the gooey silicone mount too ;-)

This had an adapter for the Vantrue N2 Pro. Solid. Perfect fit. No locking feature, but the amount of friction to slide the camera into the adapter is more than sufficient enough to hold it in place for your (spirited) drive. 5 stars for fit and suction. Only thing I dislike is the amount of waste this kit has with tossing all the unused adapters..

We needed a new suction cup for our dash camera and ordered this one because it has multiple pieces to it. It has a lot of choices for many different devices. They all seem to be good quality and strong enough to support all devices. The suction cup holds onto the windshield tightly.

TDLR: You get what you pay for. I have bought two because the suction cup eventually fails. I hate wasting the plastic so I am going to try and rig the second one to accept an adhesive backing that I will buy separately. If that ends up failing I will buy a more expensive adhesive mount. The first one I bought I used the adhesive backing for the mount. It did not last through the Texas heat. Went to the suction cup and it lasted for about a year before continuously falling off. Second one only came with suction cup. It help up for about a year and then slowly started to fall off more often. At first I would clean the window and suction every time I reapplied but then it happened so often that I gave up and have be driving without it on. Also, the universal mounts do not fit my cam. Making the camera vibrate quite a bit. All in all. Do I want to buy this mount again, no. But I didn't want to the second time. I am going to try to remove the suction cup and buy my own adhesive and see if I can install again. I would rather deal with the adhesive failing every once in awhile rather than have to continuously fiddle with the suction cup continuously and more frequently near the end of its suctioning life. If that doesn't work, I will buy a different mount. Possibly one that adheres to the dash so that the Texas sun isn't degrading it so quickly.

This product is being used to replace a broken mount on my dash camera. The mount turned out to be easier to install on my dash camera than the original mount. It appears to also be more sturdy than the mount it replaces. Very pleased with the window/dash mount.

Product came with random parts in the box and no suction cup mount.
