The book is great. It's sexy, funny, and exciting. For once the story is similar but not predictable. It also doesn't go from 0-100 in a chapter. The way both POV are written in is fantastic, and the scenes overlap. So you get both POV for the same situation. Now my gripe is with kindle. Why aren't books like this available with its membership. Instead we're subjected to books that appear as if they were written and edited by a HS student. I'd rather pay a bit more for my membership and have access to better books. Ijs

I finished this book is hardly any time at all. I'm finding that this series is going to be pretty easy to get through. Again, this book isn't heavy with the BDSM element. I'm not minding it though. I feel like once it's completely introduced it's going to change everything. This book contains some drama. There are lies. Secrets. The characters haven't changed since the first book. Rome is still a headstrong woman that doesn't like to get bossed around. Calloway still wants to dominate Rome and make her his sub. She still doesn't even know about the dominate side of him until the beans are spilled by Christopher (her brother). I'm really enjoying this series and I'm wishing the books were a little bit longer but I'm not going to complain because they're loaded with so many wonderful qualities. This book was sexy, dramatic and a bit enticing at times. There's a little bit more action in this book than the first. Which tells me there's going to be a big climax coming in the future! Definitely picking up the next one ASAP!

This was my first experience with Victoria Quinn's books and I wasn't disappointed. I was intrigued from the beginning and she kept me on the hook that I purchased the remaining 3 audiobooks in the series and binge listened. This was also my first experience with male narrator Michael Ferraiuolo and enjoyed his performance so much that I will continue to look for his work when looking for new purchases. Lia Langola did another excellent job with her performance, though I would have enjoyed the audiobooks even more if they were in duet style. The male narrator did so much performing of the females voice when doing an entire male POV chapter that I missed the female performers voice and felt she didn't get very much airtime. It did get a little confusing at times when they switched from male performer to female performer that performed the opposite sexes voices. I go so used to one performer talking in a certain style for the other sexes character, that when the opposite sexes narrating performer took over, I had to get back into the frame of mind to their performance style. But that's my only complaint, and it's not a huge one. I would LOVE if the producers took this into consideration and had the two narrators redo the recording in duet style and re-release the series. I think it could help boost the sales as this narrating style is becoming the preferred method to listen to dual POV audiobooks by avid listeners who spend lots of money purchasing hundreds to thousands of audiobooks a year, myself included (568 purchased so far this year).

This series just keeps heating up! Book two didn't disappoint in the slightest - the entire book keep you on edge and just made you anxious for more and crushed when the page appeared. We rejoin Cal and Rome and while our couple are still going strong secrets are still being kept on both sides that can destroy the foundation of trust and feelings that have grown between the pair. It hasn't been easy for Rome to give up control and she doesn't always do as she is told leading to many a confrontations between her and Cal, but she is realizing that her heart is with Cal and that he is worth the risk. But can she tell him all the tragic stories of her past and make herself truly vulnerable? Cal is hiding his true nature from Rome terrified that she will run if he springs it on her too soon. He is slowly conditioning her to accept it, but with feeling growing and more time passing his Windows of opportunities are quickly closing. When their respective secrets come to light can their fragile relationship hope to survive?

This series was really made for me. It has all my favorite tropes and kinks. But it was still so different than any other similar story I’ve read! A Dom so in love with a woman he’s willing to give up his kinks?! This was a whirlwind. But oh so romantic and swoon. Calloway falls head over heels for Rome the second he lays eyes on her. And he’s willing to do ANYTHING and give up EVERYTHING you have her. Secrets, betrayal and obsession had me so enticed, I never wanted to leave their story.

So Addicted! Can't wait to start the third book in the series! Don't second guess yourself, just buy this book!

I'm so hooked in this series now I thought the first book was a bit slow but it still kept me interested and I liked where it was going, well it gets better and it as twists and turns in it, I love the characters Rome is so stubborn and fiesty, and Calloway is just I don't know dreamy (maybe not the right word) if u like bur then we haven't seen him in full Dom mode, cannotcwait to see what happens next.
