Lock-Jaw Flex Quick Release Aluminum Barbell Collar with Magnet (Blue)

Originally, I bought these clips to use at my home gym. Alas, my equipment is in storage until I can take it out to use again. So, now I take them to the gym. People always compliment them. They like the color and magnetic feature, and the magnetic feature is really cool, except for when I forget to take the clips off of the rack I use, but that's my problem. The only thing which took some time for me to learn was that when you slap the clip open, make sure your fingers aren't anywhere near the lever part, or you will hit yourself, which hurts. A lot. You kinda wanna flick the clips open away from your hands so that they snap open. Otherwise, they stay secure. I've used them on deadlifts and they stay on the sleeves. No problems on squats, even with the thinner sleeves on the EliteFTS Safety Squat bar.

I cannot recommend these enough!!! I have tried them all! These are the ONLY clamps I’ve used that can hold up to repeated dropping from Deadlifts, Cleans, Snatches, etc! Only complaint is be careful when in clamping them as the spring has quite a bit of tension in it and can pop you pretty good in the fingers if you’re not careful. Not a big deal, you’ll only do that once or twice before you learn :)

I wish the magnet was stronger but the grip and lock mechanism is amazing and great quality

I’ve tried other clamps but they tend to wore out in a few months. So far these are holding up great. I use them for lifting in CrossFit. Dropped heavy barbell and the bumper plates do not move.

After I ordered the first pair and used them on several workouts, I had to order another pair. They are in my opinion, better than advertised. I love them. I have been working out since I was 13 and I am in my 50s now. I have never had a better set of locking collars. They are very practical also. The magnet is convenient, but I caution you to make sure you do not forget they are stuck on equipment because these nice collars will get stolen if you even walk away from them for a short time. They are high quality and practical in every sense of the word. A must-have for gym use, if you have a home gym I would also highly recommend them as well for home use. Then you have no concerns of them getting stolen, or left behind. I have had multiple people ask me cost and where I got them, which is why I stress that if you leave them anywhere, they will sprout legs for sure.

These are around just 60% of the width of a regular collar from the same brand, which is good if you have a short barbell, trap bar, or similar and put wide bumper plates that use a lot of space, you can get away with 10kg more per side (additional 20kg space). They are heavy, and sturdy, very tight and lock/unlock easily. The thing that I did not read is the magnet. It is not on the sides of the collar, it is right opposed to the lock, is a little magnet rectangle, but is very strong so don't worry about that. Overall, a great product. EDIT: just amazing! these fit 1.9" and 2" barbbells, it closes with some effort but opens and clicks into place with a spring mechanism, magnet is strong, I used it with regular bars and specialty bars with no issues, it stays put and tight. at this price this is great, I may buy another pair.

Don’t get me wrong they work look nice and the magnet is awesome but the clip is plastic and has a small piece that holds the clamp open making it night and day taking difference off of the bar but one of mine is broken off. They still hold just kinda wish I got to use as intended. Seem sturdy enough other then that part

These work fantastic. Great quality materials and they look very nice as well. A bit pricey compared to others on the market but you get what you pay for. Simple and easy to use.

Premium quality for premium price. They hold strong and are smooth to clamp and remove. You won't love using anything else once you try these.

Expensive compared to others available but the magnets and the good tight fit mean that they are second to none.
