Does the job, easy replacement for faulty fill valve
OEM fill valve on my Gerber toilet would fail to run and fill the holding tank intermittently after a flush, so it was time to replace it. The Fluidmaster has very straightforward installation instructions, it's about a 10 minute job at most. Save yourself the $350-$400 plumber bill and replace the fill valve yourself...most 3rd graders could probably handle the installation of a new fill valve and flapper. The adjustable water flow is a nice bonus but most will probably find the max setting is the best option. The flapper is nice as well....seems to operate more smoothly than the 3rd-party Korky flappers I've used in the past. Just make sure you have a bucket handy and drain the holding tank as much as possible before removing your old fill valve, or you'll be mopping up a lot of water. Overall, easy replacement, reasonably priced, no complaints.

This is really easy to install. No plumber needed for this job. It fits perfectly and never leaks.its really worth its weight in gold.

Flapper hole must be 2 1/2 <.
If the drain hole in your tank isn't 2 1/2" or bigger, don't plan on using the flapper, The flush unit went in straightwardly, works fine after adjustment.

Perfect replacement
We have three Kohler toilets in our house and in one of them, the waster was constantly leaking on-and-off. No amount of adjustment would fix it. This was an exact replacement for the old valve, but has several improvements. It how has two easy-to-turn adjustment knobs, rather than plastic screws, to adjust the fill volume and fill level. It took less than 15 minutes to replace this.

Replaced an American Standard old ballcock flush valve, super easy to install and works well. The flapper was too big though. Pro tip, use CLR or equivalent to clean tank - let it sit for 24 hours.
