Q-Workshop Metal Dwarven 7 Polyhedral RPG Ornamented Dice Set

A gift from the dwarven gods
I got this for my boyfriend as a gift. Definitely a head turner with this dice. It makes a heavy *THUD* every time you roll it. If you're playing on nice granite or marble counters, I would use a dice tray or a book so this thing doesn't make nicks in the stone. The first time I ordered it, the product was marked as delivered but was missing from my mailbox. I suspect either the post man/woman took it or it went into the neighbor's mailbox and they didn't have the decency to return it. I got a replacement from Amazon (can't complain about that!) and I see why someone would want to steal it. If you're in a heated debate in a game, please put these down before you get physical. These are so heavy and solid that you could get charged with assault with a deadly weapon. These dice have definitely been blessed in a dwarven forge. And if you find that your rolls are crap, remember it's you and not the dice.

For those of you looking for a set of good quality dice not made in China
For those of you looking for a set of good quality dice not made in China. LOOK NO FURTHER!These dice are real die-casted -- pardon the pun - metal and engraved on each side; manufactured in Poland. There is no paint, or metal shavings that come off in your hands; and I am pretty confident that the d20 can put a dent in any mahogany table. So roll with car..or don't, I like the sound it makes.I would love to see more sets of special crafted dice made from different materials in the future. Perhaps an elvan set made from wood? Or a human on made from stone? Just keep the trend of "no China production" going forward!

beautiful dice
I bought these along with the small chest dice holder, largely because of the number of people who have purchased them and their high rating. I couldn't be happier; the dice are absolutely beautiful. To protect their finish I would suggest they be either display or special use dice, if that's a thing, because heavy use might scratch or cause the sparkly background material to flake off. But that said, they roll fine in terms of randomness, although with a bit less bounce than plastic dice. I would also suggest some type of rolling surface to protect the table because of their weight. But they really are stunning and I don't regret the cost at all.

NOT METAL/Plastic Dice Arrive Instead
I was honestly super excited for these dice, but I guess they arent really what they appear to be in the photos. Instead I was sent a set of crappy looking plastic dice from Q Workshop, probably worth 5$.I immediately initiated a return.I could understand if the dice were metal and looked different than the picture, but advertising metal dice and sending plastic dice instead, just makes me sad.I wanted to love this purchase, as it was intended to be a gift, but alas, I guess I, and you, should look elsewhere.Picture provided for proof.

Gorgeous, heavy, super fun to use!
A very attractive, BEEFY, fun to use set of metal dice. They ARE heavy, so I suggest using them on a padded surface (game mat) or in a dice roller tray, as the could easily damage softer wood table surfaces. I keep mine in a very special box to remind me "these aren't your ordinary dice". I've played with them a few times and their increased weight compared to plastic dice requires a bit more finger spin when you roll to avoid the "drop and plop" behavior where heavy dice just land and don't roll after landing. But with a bit of finger-induced spin, they roll quite nicely.I'll add more detail to this review after I've used them for a longer period of time.

Yes.....
There is nothing not to like about these! Every time i show these to someone, these dice have them astonished. As for me, I didn't have the heart to give these wonderfully-crafted pieces any less than five stars. I probably just had bad luck during my last DnD campaign, because most of my rolls were terrible. Maybe I just make a terrible barbarian, who knows. You should buy these pieces, because the weight is nice and heavy, and they look gorgeous.

These things are great. I was originally given a set for a secret santa we did at work, and I loved them so much I had to get another set.Bring absolute terror to the battlefield as your dice put dings and dents into character sheets, the table, and anything nearby. (You can literally put holes in paper and scuff up a table)Lovely ear shattering cracks when they land flat on a side. You will love them. Your friends will despise them. So worth.

They look fantastic, roll well and are easy to read
Epic dice. They look fantastic, roll well and are easy to read. I am super satisfied with them :). What I like most with these dice compared to any other metal dice that I have seen is the rounded edges. It makes them roll much better and feel more comfortable in hand.
