I bought this 4 years ago and it has worked perfectly. It is inexpensive for a good working machine. It is not as powerful as a regular or expensive vacuum cleaner, but it does my rugs and carpets very well. It is easy to clean out. I have a small house the size of a 2 bedrm apt. so if you want a battery that lasts for larger than that I am not sure how long the battery lasts as it has never run out on me. It's great to grab and use when you are in a hurry as it is light weight and its always been charged when I go to use it. Twice had to clean out hair from the roller and the suction path as it wasn't working well but once I did that it was back to working great. I am getting ready to buy another one for a friend who lives in a small apartment. I like it very much!

Great suction, and works wonderfully on thin carpets and flat floors. Doesn't work on thick haired carpets. Easy to empty and clean out. easy to remove brush makes the hair easy to remove. Worth the price

I originally purchased it to sweep my kitchen and bathroom. I use it on all my floors. My home is 1500 square feet, and this has been the primary vacuum for the last year.Maintenance is required for most things! This is NORMAL. People just don't talk about it. I'm not most people. If you fail to maintain its upkeep, you will be unhappy.The required maintenance is fairly simple. You dump the canister. Sometimes the foam filter needs washed. The gizmo in the canister will get clogged with grass, hair, fur, and carpet fibers. You just pull it out.You will also need to clean the beater bar. Again, this is simple. The bar comes out easily. Cut the hair with scissors, then pull it free of the bristles.The last bit of maintenance is more complicated. You must remove the "head" of the vacuum. This is hard to do. Even my husband struggles with removing the head. After the head is off, you need to run a pipe cleaner through the inside of the body. The first time I did it, I needed 3 passes to ensure it was clean.Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.Update: Stick vac was purchased November 4,2021. As of April 5, it's basically dead. The beater bar won't rotate. I removed and cleaned the beater bar. I called the manufacturer and was placed in a callback line. It's been nearly 26 hours with no callback. During that time, I tried their "chat" feature and it wouldn't connect. I tried sending a message, and have not heard back. There has been ZERO customer support.This was a very good product.... until the beater bar stopped working. It was collecting cat hair! That hadn't been an expectation. It will still suck up dust. I've not tried it on the hard floors.I will be replacing it with something from a company that has a customer service department that actually services the customer.

I have had the unit for about six months as of the time I am writing this review.The plastic that it is made from is VERY brittle. Simply falling over a single time will break parts, even on carpet! Several falls (old people and pets tend to prompt that...) equates to several breaks.Mine has broken in four different places, including the clips that hold the foot onto the handle. It is now held together by duct tape (literally).It does work sufficiently, even well, when in one piece. The charge time is neither great nor bad but enough to do a carpeted stairwell (15 steps) and then a decent bit of hard tile on one charge. This is all I really need it for, so it is sufficient in this respect.It does not have great suction, it is even a bit weak, but the nice brush roll compensates for this.The brush roll is the best part of the machine. It is made of a different material that is much more durable. It is removable so very easy to clean the dog and cat fur out of it.I need to replace it because it is nearly broken beyond my ability to repair and I am running out of duct tape. I also need to purchase a second unit for another location. Neither will be this unit, which is unfortunate because I do like how it cleans both carpet, including stairs, and tile.

Love this cordless stick broom. This is the best I've ever had.I bought a different brand trying to save a little bit of moneyand within two months I went back and purchased this broomagain. Well worth the extra money. I love the large dust cupbecause I have a large dog that sheds.Great for my in between weekly vacuuming with my larger vacuum.

This is my second DD Swerve. My first one lasted 8 years! I had to remove the brush roller every so often to clean it (cat hair). I was diligent about cleaning the filter too. I use it for quick pick ups between my regular vacuuming. It's a stick vac, it's not meant for whole house vacuuming. It's like a very powerful dust buster on a stick. I recommend it for light duty.
