A recent drop in price made this Ninja Kettle great value. Overall, this is a very nice unit. I liked the sensible cable tidy that made shortening the drop easy to do. The unit has a relatively small footprint, so does not take a lot of space in a busy kitchen. A big capacity in a small unit – the new unit was a lot smaller than my old kettle, but the capacity is a very generous 1.7l. The water level window can be difficult to see, but it’s usable. I did have to boil and rinse the unit a couple of times to get rid of the new build smell!! The temperature selection seems to work very well and its nice not to have to boil. The kettle boils quickly and its relatively quiet. In summary a nice unit and I would recommend.

We treated ourselves to this amazing kettle for our 38th anniversary last week. Wish I had bought this kettle sooner. Got it on sale which was a bonus!! It is a beaut of a kettle...fastest boil in a kettle we have had...beeps when you press start and beeps when it switches off and it is very quiet when boiling. It is fast to boil...I wipe it with a damp cloth and buff with kitchen paper and it's done, nice and clean and shiny. The kettle holds quite a bit of water, 1.7l if I remember correctly. Lid just pops open at the press of the button top of handle, and even when full, this kettle is not very heavy at all. The overall appearance of the kettle is really smart, but it is a genuine working kettle. Wish we had bought one sooner. We bought the stainless steel version. Highly recommend this Ninja kettle 👌👌👌👌👌

This review is for the Ninja Temperature control kettle - Aluminium version.Let me say at the outset that I would like to have scored this as 4.5/5 or 9/10 but those ratings are not available so its a 4/5.From starting to unpack my kettle, this feels like a premium product.Mine arrived inside the international shipping box. I can't be sure they will all arrive like that but it is a very thick brown card box inside of which the kettle sits withing its own display type box (thinner card with pictures and info etc) and again the kettle is fantastically well packed. Thick pressed card top and bottom which I could not even crush by standing on to get into our re-cycling box so very well protected.The kettle itself is inside a luxury feel insulated bag and even the instruction booklet along with a recipe booklet (nice touch) are inside a separate envelope.Kettle is simple to use and does not require any self assembly - just a rinse out and its ready to use.Everything in use is 5 star - it heats and boils very smoothly without the noise and steam of any other kettle I have had, including a Bosch temp control version this is replacing.Our kitchen is no longer full of steam when we have a brew as it slows down the rate of heating as it approaches the set temperature and then pulses the power to reach the desired temp which you can have anywhere between 40-100 decrees C in 5 degree steps (60-100 are presets, but you can manually adjust in 5 degree steps within 40-100 range. It then gives a very pleasant tone to say its finished. There is the option to select keep warm which will maintain the temperature for 30 mins or until you press stop if earlier.It is here that it losses a rating point for me because despite the premium features and price tag, it is not insulated and so starts to loose heat within moments of switching off (the digital display shows the temperature going down 1 degree at a time). Also, the outside of it gets burning hot as a result (there is an insulated area on the lid to enable closure which works well) and you need to avoid touching the outside after its boiled.The electric cable is shorter than any kettle I have used before at approximately 66cm from base of kettle to start of the plug, but its not that short that its an issue for me, but may be worth considering before purchase.The handle is nice to hold and it does feel heavy even when full to its 1.75L capacity It pours very smoothly and its easy to control the flow rate without dribbles.So overall I am very happy with my purchase and its a great kettle, but would have been even better if insulated.

Very expensive but it heats and boils water quickly enough.Excellent when pour, no spills at all (which makes it much better than almost every other kettle I’ve owned).Easy to see if there’s enough water because it has a sight glass.The steel look suggests a high build quality, and I’ve not seen gainsay that.Quiet boiling and loud enough beep when done.Similar capacity to all kettles.Few plastic parts, some to insulate.

Great kettle and easy to use. Easy to adjust the temperature you require. Smart looking. Fast boiling.

I loved this, Ninja manages to make something as simple as a kettle innovative and exciting to use! The hold temperature function on this is a lifesaver for someone like me, a frazzled mum of 4 who will boil the kettle and then get distracted before I can pour my cup of tea, so this is ideal. I simply press the hold temp button once it boils and go about doing whatever needs to be done and come back to perfectly boiled water that doesn't need to be re-boiled. It's quite fast to boil, it does make some noise but it has the trademark Ninja ding that goes off whenever it's turned on so I know immediately if the kids have messed with it. I love this. I had a one cup dispenser prior to this that was convenient of course but I don't think I'll ever go back from this kettle, unless of course Ninja come up with something with added brilliance.
