Maxwell House Dark Silk Ground Coffee

Silk? Ha! Whatever they do, this is solid coffee without the acidity. Goes well iced, too. Don't need any sweetener for this stuff, it stands on it's own. Just a fine, smooth cup of coffee.

Sometimes we find ourselves needing a lot of a certain product. That was the case this time because we bought a large package of coffee for our guesthouse. I read some reviews, and the choice fell on Maxwell House Dark Silk Ground Coffee. Now let me tell you how it all turned out. The ground coffee comes in a huge plastic canister of almost 700 grams. You might think this is unimportant because coffee is often packaged in soft plastic bags, which are not very convenient for storage. With this coffee, there are no such problems. And I haven’t even gotten to the product itself yet. Despite being not the most expensive product, it pleasantly delights with its aroma. The drink has a full body and smooth texture, making it an excellent choice for morning coffee or a good cup of coffee after lunch. Preparing this coffee doesn’t require much effort; however, you should keep in mind that you can’t brew it in a regular cup. You’ll most likely need a coffee machine or at least a Turkish coffee pot to prepare it. Our guests are completely satisfied with this coffee, and we’ve noticed that it pairs well with milk or cream, giving the drink a creamier texture. However, of course, it reveals its notes better in its pure form. Bringing all this together, we can say that Maxwell House Dark Silk Ground Coffee is an excellent product in its price range. It is perfectly suited as a quality yet inexpensive dark roast coffee for use in a guesthouse.

I love folgers black silk and other quality dark roast. I am adding the dark silk to the list. 1st time and I like, good flavor and smooth. I reccomend this roast.

I had been using the Folgers Black Silk and figured why not try the Maxwell House Silk. It’s smooth. Not the kick as Folgers but it’s easier to drink.
