I purchased this item from Amazon fifteen (15) years ago and it worked well with my Sony product. It is a very good quality item and lasted a couple of years. I would purchase this item again, because its recording ability worked well. Nothing got erased, it’s definitely reliable and easy to use. You will never regret buying this product!

Unlike old cheap cassettes, these are top of the line and put together with screws and not glued. I have an 40+ year old cassette tape that broke, I was able to transfer it to one of these cassettes and save it. It never would have happened if I was only working with the older very cheeps cassette bodies. Worth every penny.

These normal bias tapes work great for music in my portable cassette player. It's a vintage 1985 Sanyo player without any special (CrO2/metal) tape type selectors. Music sounds clear and bright with very low hiss. I make tapes old-school style by recording from vinyl via my receiver to my Onkyo dual tape deck. Tape type Normal; noise reduction OFF. Meter recording peak levels dancing right at 0db. Perfect every time.

Maxell is one of the few companies that still produces blank cassette tapes, especially 60-minute ones. Basically the quality is very good for the price - and the tapes are usually pretty dependable. However, they do tend to bind on occasion - so you either have to take them out and either tap on them to get the tape to settle, or loosen the take-up reel with your finger or a pencil. After that, they should work fine. Recommended for recording lectures and most music.

I got these tapes to use with a vintage Sony cassette recorder/player that I bought for my Dad off of eBay. I tested one of the tapes and the clarity was fantastic. Dad can't handle the new small digital recorders, as they're just too tiny and complicated. Being able to find tapes that fit the vintage cassette recorder was incredibly helpful, and Dad will be able to keep multiple recordings easily to track his progress. I was actually surprised by how many types of tapes are still offered. Now Dad can use the simpler machine that he's used to and all is well that ends well.

I love Recording Auto Tape , I use it sometime for my Book Jermiest I am making a book even though I have no money too get the book Publish , You can also send The DR. Phil show a auto tape but they told me stop sending the tapes just do e-mail the show Dr Phil show would not choose you if you insciest sending to them they Call me up and told me to stop sending them the auto tapes and now back to my Book Jermiest it is very family story but with no money it not going to get off the ground and I am not going into debt for it and I am Not saling it. but their more I record music of air waves or my cd and like both cd and auto tape . I also send auto Letters to my relatives because I have learning disability that writting is hard thing for me to do .

I have ordered these twice and the quality is always there. I would order again.

Got these blank tapes for my cassette player and recorder. Recorded long music sessions with family and friends in mono quality. No problems. Good price. Can still make mix tapes with these.

I think they may have cheapened the materials used to make these casettes since the late 90's, but they sre still good and sound good with no dropouts and are affordable.
