Grant's Dissector (Tank, Grant's Dissector)

Grant's Dissector is the gold standard for Anatomy lab. The images are clear and give an accurate representation of what you are actually seeing on the dissection table. This is a great resource when you don't have time to make it to the lab to look at the actual cadavers. I would recommend that if you are going to take this into the lab, you purchase a second copy or find a friend with one. The copy that you will take to the lab will get nasty! This book will get you through anatomy dissection as well as any other.

As an orthopedic surgery resident expected to conduct weekly extremity dissections to present to my entire department I relied on Grant's dissector as the gold standard for dissection preparation. Very useful in thinking about the best way to present the specimen. Did not always going to the level of detail that I would have liked for the extremities, however few general resources do and I would not expect have expected it of this text. overall very pleased and will continue to use it even though it is technically outdated by a newer edition.

This is a must-have book for anyone taking an anatomy class in medical school. I used this book so much more than my regular anatomy text-book. It's clutch.

I used this book for our head and neck anatomy dissection in dental school. Although I didn't spend too much time actually in the book, I spent time doing the dissection while someone else read from the book. It did a good job of instructing you how to dissect a human body, which is quite a feat if you have tried to explain to someone how to do something specially oriented. It has helpful simplistic pictures that guide you along the way.I don't remember too much about that class as it has been a couple years, but I thought this book did a good job in the head and neck area. I can't speak for the rest, but I have no reason to think it would be any different. Hope this was helpful. Good luck!

This book is MUST have for anyone that is taking an anatomy course with lab/dissection component. I will keep this book in my library for the rest of my life!

This book is very clear and concise. Helpful diagrams and information given about rare occurrences in the cadaver.

Didn't really use it as much as I thought I would but it's helpful in some circumstances

Arrived in great condition and is very useful for my class! Lots of great images and descriptions that make studying easier. Highly recommend.
